I’ve been watching those three clown around with cars almost as long as I’ve been driving. I’m pretty sure there’s no other show I ever watched that long with that much impact on me. It can’t be replaced, and certainly not in current era, those guys didn’t bother with a political correctness often. For me, it will be greatly missed.
Stray is being released to the Switch with a graphical downgrade. My wife doesn't care.
Exactly, a lot of the Switch hate crowd just totally doesn't understand a huge amount of people aren't that bothered by a graphical downgrade. Also a reason why my PC that is not high end will likely not be upgraded for a while. I just turn the settings down. On the note of Stray, it's been on my watch list for ages, anyone have an idea if it's actually any good?
Tetris collection.
Screw these people as they most likely take my money for a game I've bought too many times.
Is the new Zelda projecting really woke? I liked the Link's Awakening remake, but the whole move of making Zelda the playable character in the modern day sets off so many red flags. I guess I'll have time to find out, I haven't even gotten Tears of the Kingdom yet or started Skyward Sword, so it will be a while.
the real name is very German.
Reminds me of this from one of my all time favorite shows https://youtu.be/DrlzIuwpg3A?t=32
Assetto Corsa EVO
I hope this is good, and I really hope they stick with their open mindedness to modding from the original. I've got a few hundred hours in the first one at least and the mods are a large part of the reason why.
I may buy that Switch rally game too if it's not gay. Looks good and I wouldn't mind an arcadey fun rally game on the go. Well, I guess I'll just download it since my Switch is hacked, but I'll still go buy it from them if it's good and woke free
I hate wires, so there's that bit. My gaming PC is HTPC form factor on a big TV and if I strung wires across the floor they'd just get tripped over. I do generally hate my wireless headset though (Logitech, idk we will call it POS edition wireless headset). It was cheap, so well I got what I paid for. I don't use it that much. If I ever do care, I may try a Bluetooth setup with some nice headphones. Any of that whole needing a fancy headset so my friends wear hear important callouts in a competitive game is far, far in my past, so I don't really need a gaming headset.
But yeah, those Razer peripherals were a serious splurge for me trying to fix up my desk. They were not inexpensive. Yet both of them were relegated to backup use in a little over a year.
I can second the sentiment. I bought a Razer wireless keyboard and mouse a couple years ago, not cheap at all, the Pro Type and Pro Click I believe is the correct name. This is for a desk where I do work not a gaming station, and I generally don't care about RGB Gamerzzz Pro B1g Bon3r edition items anyway.
It sucked, the battery on the keyboard requires so much charging it might as well be wired, even with the backlight fully off. It double types constantly also. The mouse is okay, but if you want to use the USB wireless dongle it often cuts out at a distance of no more than 2 feet. The mouse also uses a proprietary micro USB charging cable. You'd likely have to trim down the plastic on any generic cable to fit it. I relegated the keyboard to an extra computer in an extra room and the mouse lives in my laptop bag now where it gets light use.
My favorites, Logitech G613, inexpensive wireless mechanical keyboard that uses regular replaceable batteries. I have two of them. I also have two Steelseries Rival 3 wireless, also simple mouse with simple buttons and regular replaceable batteries.
I mean I know all politicians lie and stretch promises to an extreme, but am I really supposed to support Trump pledging to do something he can't possibly execute on? Half of these kids are probably buried in a hole somewhere.
The rest of us will end up paying the price too. Just wait, banking services will become even more of a pain in the ass. There's stores I avoid now, because they lock everything up. I didn't steal anything, don't inconvenience me, actually go after the criminals.
I can't figure out how this guy ever wrote his first books. I guess low barrier to entry to write books. Were they successful at all before the TV show?
I really hope the Sony Games division gets drug into some very unpleasant meeting with the Japanese overlords that would give me vibes of a Yakuza game. They need to shut that division down and fire everyone, bring what game dev and their IP back to Japan.
If I didn't grow up around these people, I'd really need Barbara Billingsley to translate these.
That's not even a glitch. It's more of a huge list of crimes that banks haven't had previously had to go into depths to check before.
Romania I would have assumed Gypsies everywhere.
The Baltic states are like this, at least Tallinn and Riga that I've been to. I never looked around for if someone would steal tables or anything like that. Just I'd say my instincts are over-sensitive because of how awful cities can be in the US, and in a white country I'm looking around at the area expecting at the very least some crackhead homeless to accost me, and it doesn't happen. I think of any place I've been along the Baltic Sea (I've been to the majority of those countries) the only real just sketchy negative experiences I can point out was a muzzie.
I am going to have to be in Germany a few days later this year, and I've never been there beyond the airport, so I'm imagining a different experience entirely there.
I was going to mess with Rust someday because I'd heard good things and it was a compiled language. Eh, maybe I don't need to bother just for educational purposes. I'd rather spend the time on things less infested.
Yeah, I reflect on my own life and I fully believe that women's need to "fix" boys is a huge factor in the problems with them today. As a lot of us here, I wasn't the most fitting in normal kid, women were always trying to push me to do some magic thing to be normal or they'd use some BS term "come out of your shell" or what not.
I was also very lucky to have a lot of really good male influences and I recall that with few-to-none of them. They treated me with respect, even as a weird little kid.
So when I check other and put in "white man" I assume I'm immediately listed to be the first to the gulag?
empathy
Oh look a leftist buzzword, shocking.
political or ideological nature
Their answer, "it's not politics it's basically human decency"
usually the "difficult" people who are the most talented
If you get in as a corporate lemming and can learn to deal with these labeled people, it pays off a ton. I remember one guy that used to get a bad rep because he was not the best at communication, especially e-mails. If I had to guess he had some of one of the -tisms. He was in charge of equipment, let's just generalize it and say server config. The thing is, all you had to do was take the time to go talk to him in person, and you'd realize he was actually insanely good at his job. He could whip up some script to do something in 15 minutes that my peers would hire outside vendors and take weeks to do. All it took to look really good at my job was going my their office every Friday for a couple hours, chatting with guys about things we needed, etc. I don't understand it at times, I've always had social issues, but actual socialites people skills in the workplace are shit.
I can't remember totally, it's been a long time. I'm sure it was counter to the teachers point. I never got along with English teachers. Honestly, with a few exceptions I never got along with female teachers if I really think of it. I do remember not discussing communism at all, I wasn't aware of much of anything about communism until I was older. We had a lot of "plight of the negro" teaching in those days, but less than a decade after the fall of the Soviet Union it wasn't quite allowed yet for them to openly preach communism.
I know I haven't seen a lot of praise here for Black Myth: Wukong
My guess with respect to that is not enough of us are early players of new games. It's difficult to praise something you haven't played yet.
I can't argue. I haven't tried this one yet, never and early adopter. I'll buy it in a couple years, with the scale tipper being they gave the finger to the woke mob.
I had to read a couple of those in school. I'm sure the message taken was very dependent on the age and sex of the teachers. I had a lot of teachers that are likely dead today. I specifically remember my paper on Animal Farm was not well received though, I can't remember exactly why, but I did and wrote what the hell I wanted in high school too without concern for conformity.
Next up, man’s life ruined after being exposed on X that he continued to have sex with it after it said no. #metoo
I’m not sure they ever did. I moved anywhere from 3-8 hours away by car (depending on which family member) about 15 years ago. I can count on two hands the amount of times anyone has visited me. Since Covid clownery, I think my Dad has visited once and that’s it. I’ve even tried to entice them with going to the big city, sporting events, drive them all around, etc. as that would be novel to them.
A lot of these same people I visit twice a year. Some of them, like my mother, is a bit of a chore but I do anyway. Others are fun. I enjoy trips seeing my brother and nephews or some of my cousins.
They really are just horrible at family. In my own family, the boomers do nothing but bicker over stupid shit constantly, judge everyone else, gossip, it’s horrible. All have broken up their lives and immediate families often multiple times. Within my family, this isn’t a problem at all with the older or younger generation, just the boomers. When the boomers talk about family, what they mean is “how will others serve me for the privilege of being related to me?”
So is it links to Amazon or am I missing a storefront? I've gotten a little more receptive to eBooks but don't like Kindle so was curious if I was missing something.
I'll throw a few on the list and try them out. Any suggestions? At the very least I should be able to assume that even though the cover looks gay the book won't be full of it.
