tl;dr: Youtuber Karl Jobst and 'pro gamer' Billy Mitchell have been having a back and forth spat for years. Billy is quite the cheater when it comes to records both old and new, and Karl garnered millions of views calling him out. So Billy sued Karl in an AU court (where Karl lives) for defamation. Karl told everyone it was for the cheating allegations, turns out it was for Karl implying that Billy had a hand in ApolloLegend's suicide (another YTer).
Apparently the defamation suit was focused on Karl's allegations that Billy caused ApolloLegend to commit suicide, not the cheating claims as Karl had been reporting. Being tried in an Australian court for defamation, he really had no chance.
