Apparently the defamation suit was focused on Karl's allegations that Billy caused ApolloLegend to commit suicide, not the cheating claims as Karl had been reporting. Being tried in an Australian court for defamation, he really had no chance.
Sources (KF) are saying that the lawsuit was never about the cheating allegations, and was about the ApolloLegend comment the entire time. So Karl seems to have lied in most of his reporting about the case.
So Karl seems to have lied in most of his reporting about the case.
Defamation suits usually work out that way. They pretend it was about the frivolous nonsense or obvious jokes to try and sway the public opinion to them, and not the major, actually damaging part. The part that makes the judge not laugh it out of the room from the outset.
Its like the Gawker/Hogan one, where they pretended it was about free speech and funny sex tape and not the fact that they literally ignored a court order saying they couldn't do that.
Any time there's a lawsuit or arrest where you see different leftists all start doing the same "wow, we're literally arresting people for this now?" schtick, 100% of them are lying about it and most of them know they're lying. It's similar to when they do the Innocence Project thing and they start talking about some poor guy who got arrested for smoking weed and leave out the multiple assault/gun felonies.

Oh, so this isn't the cheating thing.
