Yep. My hands crack really bad when its cold and I use super glue to get some of the more major cracks taken care of.

And yet: What dumbass thought it was related to hair products? Why would something that clearly says "Glue" on the label EVER be hair related.

My attitude as well.

Remember, he came out as being a Male Feminist, which means he looked at the accusation of "All men are bastards who want to abuse women" and thought "Yep, that sounds right." Like all of them before him.

Well if that is her plan, she is playing one hell of a long game. Because we have known each other for about 15 years and been romantically involved for 10 years.

EDIT: Also, if its about stealing my money or whatever, she met and fell in love with me when we were in high school, and my day job is as a warehouse worker. The hell did I have that she would have wanted to take?

I have also been informed that bisexual women are just secret lesbians trying to steal my things. My fiance found that accusation laughable, as did I.

Also the only trial where the judge is also one of the jurors! And lets not even get into the legal miscarriage arguments that can be when said judge has already deemed the defendant guilty before the trial.

Video Games:

War on the Sea: Made by the same studio that made Cold Waters, its basically the old Battlestations: Midway with a more updated look and more realism, simulator aspects. Although it can stand to have some automation in unit AI, but the Devs have been on the ball and listening to the community so I have high hopes for it.

Synthetik: I have been singing the praises of this for a while. Excellent roguelite, easily to learn and difficult to master, do not skip.

Frostpunk: Felt the need to get back into this since I am currently living in that world here in the Midwest. Always gorgeous, if a little repetitive in play.

Anno 1800: A game I had been meaning to get more into, and have been loving so far. Yet another "Easy to learn, difficult to master" instance.

Movies:

Midway: I got to see it in theaters when that was still a thing, and I loved it. It was good to see a movie that was true enough to the actual history, and it was interesting to also see it from the Japanese perspective for a few scenes.

John Wick: Always good to watch, and yet another example of one of a handful of modern movies that still remember what they are doing.

The Pacific: Made by the same people who did Band of Brothers, but it follows a Marine unit in the Pacific instead of the Airborne in Europe. As I am sure you can guess, even more brutal and in your face about it, as that is just how the war was.

Anime:

Girls und Panzer: Its silly, its over the top, the story is extremely predictable, and I love it. Now I just need to figure out where to go to find the final season, since I know it exist just not where.

Rising of the Shield Hero: Still one of my favorites, I always go back and watch it from time to time. And Raphtalia is the greatest waifu.

Heavens Design Team: Another pretty good one I have just seen. Seems like it is going to be silly but fun to watch.

I saw you have the OG Death Wish in there, but the remake with Bruce Willis from 2018 was pretty good as well. And I would say it deserves a spot on there as the Woke Mob complained about it, but Eli Roth didnt seem to care and Bruce told them exactly where they could shove their complaints.

TheModernDaVinci 8 points ago +8 / -0

I think that this sort of attitude is important. Morale is always an important part of any war (and make no mistake, this is very much a virtual war with the Woke Mob), so you must keep the right attitude. As for me, I have been overjoyed. I recently discovered a few new bands I like, I have been watching anime, and like others I have been returning to older games and movies that like. Before the Woke. Some even after that managed to slip by them, specifically Midway, which is probably one of my favorite war movies to come out in recent times.

EDIT: Also, I would just like to say for the blackpilled among us: We just witnessed the first time a celebrity has been uncanceled with Gina, and there is a growing backlash against the movement. A lot of the actions that are being taken are because they believe they have won, and are growing more concerned and enraged that people are still resisting them, which is just increasing the resistance. It will be a long, hard road. But the tide is not in their favor.

Still wouldnt be enough. They have to get to 67 to convict, and that is extremely unlikely. I have already seen some Dems saying that they hate it because they know that it doesnt matter how many they got on their side, the headline is going to be "Trump Acquitted, again." and that will just stoke his followers.

Give it time. If 4 years ago, you would have told me Ben Shapiro was going to be in the business of producing movies and said movies were standard Hollywood stuff instead of "Hail Jesus" ultra-Christian uber-cringe, I would never have believed you. So a cancel-proof (or just doesnt give a shit) bank is probably going to happen in the future.

6
TheModernDaVinci 6 points ago +6 / -0

Well, and there in lies the problem. The places, states, and cities that care about their rights have already said they will not tolerate such measures. And when pushed they have pushed back. I have seen it in my own state, where Dodge City chased out their mayor and got her to resign because of an overwhelming backlash when she attempted to enforce a mask mandate.

But the places that will stay locked down don’t give a shit about their rights or that they are being violated, so they will mental gymnastics their way through their livelihood being destroyed over it.

I guess they forgot about, say, Thatcher and Golda Mier.

Quite the contrary: I have found that most of these people know of and DESPISE Thatcher. Based on the merits, they should love her. She started at the bottom, worked her way up, and showed through determination that she would have her way one way or another. But she is an icky conservative, so she doesnt count.

No no no, see, you are doing it wrong.

By being on Reddit, I can report from behind enemy lines, and try (I said try!) to drop Redpills from time to time.

Being totally serious for a second: The only thing that keeps me on Reddit is the subreddits for my favorite shows, games, bands, etc. I dont know if its just what I am into or if I just lucked out, but most of them keep pretty well on the whole "We are here for the same thing" sort of rule, although from time to time there will be displays of Reddit being Reddit.

And on top of that, we get into so-called "intangibles." Stuff that is extremely important for a military but is something that you cant really put down as a solid, on paper thing. The two obvious ones that spring to my mind are carrier ops and damage control.

The US Navy has been the premier operator of carriers since WW2 forced us to learn the hard way. And a lot of the operations for said carriers are because of harsh lessons learned in the early days when, much like the Japanese, we still considered the carrier a second-class unit and as such had not invest time or money into them. But through these, we learned how to make carriers work, planes do their job, the whole 9-yards. The Chinese have had no such training, and neither did the Russians who they bought their carrier from. Or did you think they designed the Nimitz and the Ford the way they did just because its pretty, and not because it is as efficient in carrier ops as possible.

And then damage control, which again we learned the hard way. And what we learned the hard way is that, if you make literally everyone on board a damage control officer, then you can start making repairs the second the ship is damage. To use an extreme example, the USS Samuel B. Roberts (FFG-58, not DE-413, although she was also a tough bitch to sink) hit an Iranian mine, which blew a 15-ft hole in the ship, flooded the engine room, destroyed 2 turbines, and knocked out power on the ship, and BROKE THE KEEL (you know, that minor part of the ship that only holds all of it together?)! And yet, the Roberts managed to stay afloat long enough to be rescued, and was even repaired and served another 30 years before finally being retired. That is the absolute insanity of US damage control. That taking a hit that is fatal to 99% of ships was something that the sailors looked at and went "Oh look, a challenge" and kept the ship alive to fight another day.

I also dont buy the Chinese economic dominance. While some major companies like Apple intend to stay in China, Walmart just recently announced they are moving their main suppliers to India. And as the single largest importer in the US, they hold a lot of sway with other industries who will piggyback off of the shipping lanes. Especially as many of those industries are starting to get sick and tired of having their IP stolen and copied by the Chinese to be sold back at below cost.

Agreed. They want to keep him bogged down in the process because if it went to trial any jury would look at what happened and say "I dont understand, whats the problem here?" because just about anyone in the area would have done the same thing he did.

So the prosecutor needs to keep it in the process as long as possible to keep the punishment up before it finally ends with the jury telling him to get lost.

Feminist secretly hate men

Only secretly?

Either way, its things like this that I point to when I tell people the end is not in fact neigh. I know people on the internet THINK that nothing well ever change, but this sort of hyperwoke 24/7 attitude is not sustainable among anyone who is not broken enough to be that woke in the first place (so, the overwhelming majority of the country/world).

It may take time, but there will be a push back as people dont want to live in that sort of world.

EDIT: I looked at his wiki page to try and find out who this mans is (I dont like Rap/Hip Hop, so I dont know), and they are as salty as you think. "His lyrics are interpreted as anti-feminist, anti-LGBT, pro-white nationalism, and as apologism for NotAllMen. MacDonald has denied the claim of being a racist or ever participating in 'racist activities'."

If you are interested in a longer interview from someone who got direct access to the Devs and interviewed them, you can watch this one Here.

But the TLDR is like a lot of people have already pointed out in this thread. Self-insert furry shit, some underage characters having sexual dialogue thrown at them, the stuff with the Enclave*, the main dev being an absolute control freak who would never let anything be changed, little to no communication between branches (which is how a lot of the really egregious stuff slipped by). And on and on, to the point that the mod was probably doomed from "Go". Even before one of them got outed at a pedo.

/*My own two cents on the stuff said about the Enclave: It sounds like it was only one Dev and the communication problems are why it was never handled, as the other Devs thought it was unacceptable in the above interview I linked. My bigger beef isnt even with the "Enclave is evil, and so is Trump." I have heard that a million times, and the Enclave are unironically evil, so I will just roll my eyes at that and move on. My issue is, like usual, the rest of the mod lets you do extremely evil shit and they dont say anything or care about those.

You know, funny story about how that sort of community policing can be helpful. Remember how I said Wichita avoided the big riots that characterized many other big cities? Well, that is because the Wichita BLM is independent of the rest of the movement.

Why you ask? Well, a few years ago, their local organizer decided that the screaming matches and general hostility they were witnessing in other locations was not working. So they sat down with the police and organized a community BBQ. They invited the entire police force (save a few on call), and they invited community leaders as well as the general public. They played football (including mixing teams instead of "BLM vs. WPD"), they shared stories, they shared food made by local business owners, the whole 9 yards.

Then the National BLM caught wind of this and went ham. They said this was not the way and told them they needed to immediately cease negotiations with WPD. Luckily, Wichita BLM told them "fuck off" and kept doing it as an independent organization. Which meant that when people tried to riot over the summer and WPD crushed it, both them and WBLM went into action mode, sat down, and diffused the situation with only minor damage inflicted on the community.

As far as I know, the National BLM and a lot of their people on Twitter still consider WBLM traitors.

But, all of the important people live in NYC!!

Why, if they didnt live there, they might as well go and live with those bumpkins out in flyover country! Why, I bet they dont even know what caviar is out there. And all of that dirt would dirty up my their designer Italian clothing.

8
TheModernDaVinci 8 points ago +9 / -1

You seem to underestimate just how expensive NYC is. You could be making a six-figure salary and STILL have trouble making ends meet. And then that is before you get around to the fact that many of these journos see themselves as the new aristocrats and live as such, throwing down for luxury items, high ticket meals, and fancy cars. And I would imagine they are members of luxury clubs that charge hefty membership fees.

Its part of the reason that they react with disgust and revulsion if you ask them if they know anyone who drives a pickup truck. And why they are proud to be out of touch with the average person. Does the lord of the manor concern himself with the needs of his peasant?

At least where I live here in the US, it has become very situational. People around here love our cops and our sheriff, but the sheriff has also been extremely laid back and hasnt really been enforcing any sort of lockdown or mask law. Only the stuff that was actually illegal. And no amount of salt from the governor will change that. Which I am sure is why there are still a lot of Blue Line flags around here.

Then the local big city departments (KC, Omaha, Wichita, etc) have also been handling themselves well, and even did during the BLM nationwide stuff, because they let maybe one riot catch them off guard, then the gloves came off and they shut that shit down quick. Leaving them as some of the only big cities to suffer minor damage.

But when I ask people about the likes of NYPD or LAPD? "Yeah, they deserve whatever they get. They can go swivel."

And I imagine that applies to most of the country.

I would argue pissing off the Grunts is a bigger deal than pissing off the REMF and POG's though. Not much you can do when the guys who actually pull the trigger decide to tell you "Eat shit and die." What, are they going to give some 2-Star a rifle and say "Welp, its your job now."?

They could just as easily defend themselves from Russian influence and aggression. But then they would have to actually equip their troops with real guns instead of broomsticks, and that might mean cutting out their generous welfare programs that they couldnt afford otherwise (and technically STILL cant afford).
