The writers can't fucking help themselves. Holy fuck.

There's no fucking gray area or relativism in Tolkien! It's good versus evil. Post modernist shitlibs can't fucking grasp that. If the protagonists are against something, that something of course must be marginalized and a poor oppressed angel.

The goblins outnumber men! They would wipe every village and town off the face of Middle Earth. There is no 'nuance' here. They don't make treaties. They can't write. They only stop plundering and eating you if you kill enough of them. Hollywood, STOP.

Wind Waker is superior in my opinion. EVEN though I have much more nostalgia for OoT, simply because of the 2D > 3D leap blowing my kid mind. But, in hindsite, now I go back to Wind Waker every time. The cel shading also helps it hold up visually.

I'm assuming we're talking big corporate gaming.

Games are becoming more story heavy, because they are hiring (heavy hehe) non gamers to create games. At bare minimum you're getting devs and team members who are just normies. Most often you're getting communications and business degree grads, of whom most are indoctrinated.

Gone are those gamers who wanted to make games for other gamers. They don't get hired. It used to be a requirement that you were passionate about games, that you could impress that in your interview. Now that's a detriment. Like how they don't hire cops or FBI bros with high IQ. They want compliant drones who can pad their demographics numbers.

Who IS designing the games? The suits and product managers. Are they creative? No. They just copy popular and effective trends. They hire female writers for the most part, because that's another easy in to pad demographics. The code devs are a few white dudes, and 85% H-1B Asians. Sometimes a couple Canadians.

So, we're getting story heavy games. With a feature focus on pain points that can be alleviated by MTX. Game mechanics are difficult to fake and require more QA, so they reuse, copy, and stretch engines past their shelf life.

The smart talent is gone, because they realized that AAA gaming companies would all be making mobile gachas or sports betting if they could, but the C-suite paid big money for these IP's that need milking.

It's probably a sterilization shot. Too many eyes on the 'remodeling' of Gaza. So, they'll put a cork in all of those little baby farmers to complete the genocide later.

I used to think it just had anti-war message. I've seen some episodes lately, that show must have been the pinnacle of 70's-80's woke back then. Despite the onerous progressive causes in it, at least it is based for pointing out the opportunism of trannyhood, and it's anti-government for the most part. That's the part the modern left has shed. They are now very pro state in the US.

"Those dirty, impure customers. I didn't want them buying my game anyhow."

Stop hiring these people.

Better yet, just go out of business. Games will be fine.

Maybe. I wasn't going in that smart/dumb direction. I was just thinking that introverts would be more likely to have that internal soundboard. Even if the endless rumination was attached more often than not.

Do you think the internal monologue separates (as a whole, I'm sure there's exceptions) introverts from extroverts? Maybe the reason extroverts seek out others, is that's how they bounce ideas, whereas the introverts are busy thinking, and the interruptions are tiresome.

Does SNW always have the zany music and madcap style sound FX? The clip (does the show?) always have a parody vibe going on? WTF is this?

Yeah the corp brand lib content is getting astroturfed everywhere. I read a lot of useless fiction on Kindle Unlimited. popcorn Sci-fi, LitRPG, progression/stats stuff, etc. It's mostly just 'content'. Usually Goodreads suggests more of the same. Lately it's been an absolute flood of feminist lit (but the Raytheon kind, not TERF), gay shit, coincidentally all Democrat biography / social causes, and non-stop female author push as recommendations.

The black chicks already self-segregated to the new safe racial spaces on campus. They are in a separate (by choice) building. It's hip to be split.

The original is a time traveling Odyssey meets Snow White for boys. High T adventure. Instead of romance, there's dungeons and wars. It's dated looking (UK gloom) but holds up as fun.

I feel like that is not too far off. High % prediction haha

It's like they didn't even watch the original. This just looks like every other brand media from the last 6 years.

They probably counted zero violent crimes or mass lootings in progress as well.

It's something like only 10-20% of the population (and this was back in the 50's/60's I think) are willing to go against the consensus of the room. They did those blackboard experiments where they first train one group to accept a wrong answer. Then start rotating in new people. The first group will try to convince the noobs of the incorrect, even if some of the noobs were trained to know the actual answer, something like 75-80% of them would acquiese to the first group instead of standing up for the truth.

If nobody can figure out who is a man or a woman, how did 'the patriarchy' oppress women for so long? Just blind luck?

Somehow the human race was able to figure it out millions of years ago... Now it's just too complicated. No one can ever really know, ya know? It's just too mysterious. We just got lucky I guess and passed a bunch of coin flips for 600,000,000 years. That luck ran out. We got arrogant just trusting luck this whole time. Now we're reaping that hubris and never really developed our skills to determine the differences between men and women.

NBC kept talking about covid at the Olympics today. Acting like it's serious. As if peak physical health 18-35 year olds were ever EVER an at risk group. Maybe they are trying to build that narrative again.

Guess those fake airport numbers don't translate to more dollars. Bloody, but mostly peaceful layoffs.

500% over-capacity on rubber rafts didn't put these illegals at risk, but some words on a foreign social media platform will.

I got a week twitter ban back then, and had to delete my comment 'It's not a vaccine.' So, I remember. heh
