Yes, if you get a messy divorce you are going to possibly lose value/money/sanity/etc in the future, but there are real tax incentives to being married and that money can compound over time.
Does it balance out the potential future loss? Well that all depends. Just like an insurance agent, you need to factor in the risk factors for the individual. Its not a 100%, but like any numbers game you can come out ahead. Hell, I have known folks who got married and the wife's family bought them a home. Even in a divorce scenario they still win.
I think the real issue is that men need to be taught that love is an emotional thing, but marriage is a financial and legal transaction and should be treated as such.
SF is already dead. I was there in spring, riding the train on Wed at rush hour and was the only one on it. By BART's own numbers, ridership is so low they are talking of cancelling weekend service. Shops and restaurants were all closed by 9pm. Family who lived there for decades sold and moved out.
The city is a sad husk of its former self, not even counting the homelessness and other issues.

You must not know any actual Russians. Unlike many here, I know several from living there. Almost all the guys I know have fled to avoid dying. The ruble, despite the official exchange, is not what is advertised and inflation is far worse than the official amount.
Russian economy is far from "self sufficient". They really only produce oil and buckwheat in any quantity. Food production is limited, and manufacturing for parts is almost non existent. Anything outside the Moscow/Petersburg bubble is sorely neglected and under developed in the best of times.
I try to help my Russian friends as much as possible, especially the men. Many had to choose between dying in a foreign war or leaving everything they have built and worked for. To make matters worse, many countries will not accept them.
I appreciate folks here do not hate Russians, but they do need your help and pity. They don't want to fight foreign wars any more than folks here.

Public groups, such as the ones given to German Authorities per law, are decidedly not encrypted or stored locally as they are public. If you post in a public telegram channel indeed you cannot expect privacy. Private chats however are encrypted end to end, which is not to say a dedicated adversary cannot get them, only that they cannot get them from Telegram. The endpoint, as always, is the weak link and an attacker with control of the network and device still can leverage that but that is beyond what a company can control.
