Sanctions imposed on Russia have increased interest & energy prices in Finland so high that people have no more money to buy food and now they have to seek help from food banks. (www.bitchute.com)

Maybe that NATO membership will fill the hole in their bellies.

Doesn't the US charge NATO members for their 'services'? I remember reading something along those lines.

Plus Finland will now have to pay for gas at elevated prices.

Feminist Finland certainly learning that 'weak men create hard times', and women are at most weak men.

There's a common fund that everyone is expected to pay into, and each country is also expected to maintain its own military to a certain standard. NATO countries agree to spend no less than 2% of their GDP on defense.

The US paid 16% of the common fund in 2021, but that bill is much smaller than the 2% per year commitment to military spending in general. Only 9 of 30 NATO countries met this commitment in 2021.

So the US OpEx was 16%, to gain unfettered access to markets and land and anything else it can put its hands on?

Sounds like a good deal.

And winter hasn't even started, I feel like the coming months will be a test of which European countries can fight back even if it means slowly clawing away at their power of their incompetent leaders over years.

And which are truly lost and are waiting to be conquered.

I’m old enough to remember them bragging about their thermal energy being so good they didn’t need anything else. Oops.

May people link the Russian gas 24/7 Livestream to the Finn's to warm them up: https://www.twitch.tv/russiangas1

Ah yes, self sufficient countries don't suffer when sanctions are imposed.

Not a Putin suckoff, but I can totally support them in this fight.

You must not know any actual Russians. Unlike many here, I know several from living there. Almost all the guys I know have fled to avoid dying. The ruble, despite the official exchange, is not what is advertised and inflation is far worse than the official amount.

Russian economy is far from "self sufficient". They really only produce oil and buckwheat in any quantity. Food production is limited, and manufacturing for parts is almost non existent. Anything outside the Moscow/Petersburg bubble is sorely neglected and under developed in the best of times.

I try to help my Russian friends as much as possible, especially the men. Many had to choose between dying in a foreign war or leaving everything they have built and worked for. To make matters worse, many countries will not accept them.

I appreciate folks here do not hate Russians, but they do need your help and pity. They don't want to fight foreign wars any more than folks here.

NATO isn't giving them a choice.

No, Putin isn't giving them a choice. He is the one drafting them, not NATO. They haven't ever met a NATO, nor does it have any impact on their daily lives.

In the minds of folks here, NATO is simultaneously incompetent feminist trannies and mustache twirling super villains able to bend the world to their will. I'm in the camp of the former.

Incompetent mustache twirling feminist trannies with nuclear missiles doesn't sound like an existential threat to you?

I mean it is, but not to my friends in Russia who are trying to just not die.

Then for whatever reason, you're ignoring a massive amount of evidence that contradicts the world view you claim.

I know a Ukrainian who is doing the same. There's simply no answer to the published words and videos that show Ukraine as a puppet state propped up to take down Russia.

I'm not even talking about Ukraine, I'm talking about Russians being forced into combat.

Of course you are wrong anyway. If you have been to Ukraine you would know they are far from puppets, in fact are more like the kossacks of old. Go there and see for yourself.

Whites are the only race to do well in the Extreme Cold - well and eskimos - they don't want us to be anywhere where we aren't inundated with rapefugees so they make it hard to live there.
