Reminder that Telegram fucking glows.
Use Signal, since you can set it as your default SMS app.

Every company has to respond to warrants, by that metric every company ever glows.
If you want to not have your data stored in the Telegram cloud you can use the Secret chat feature or the auto delete feature.
And as a bonus, Telegram isn't a US based glowy company. Pavel has repeatedly shown ability to resist censors across the globe.
