REAL game devs will list their titles they're proud of. Not spew how they've been "9+ years in the gaming space"

Ok, so this has been going on for a while and isn't a recent development then?

Again - who gave the order to microsoft, disney, apple and amazon? Sure... they're all woke, but to adopt the exact same tactics to LOSE money? No, that's coercion, blackmail or fascist power.

Yeah, that's BS. I was there. The politicians wanted to control this growing medium and threatened to enact laws to ban violence in games outright unless the industry "self regulated" (oh and paid their proper political donations to the appropriate parties - that's where the real money Launcering happened.)

huh... So, like.... how come there's no media circus for his death like Democrats like to use to fund raise... No lying in state at the Capitol for visitation?

It’s been going on a lot longer than that. When I went to school it wasnt about gays but nearly the same tactics of indoctrination and “right think” about racism complete with school clubs that did nothing more than meet and celebrate that black kids and white kids could hang out together and anybody not in the club was obviously a bigot! (As if we weren’t all going to the same school already)

And think themselves clever because they think they’re using words that you don’t understand.

Ya gotta love how they try to equate books on observable biology and music given to kids with their books on how to sexualize children and indoctrinate them with psychosexual attitudes to push an agenda.

Let’s try the reverse for Holy Week shall we?

Teaching kids about Christ isn’t indoctrinating them into Christianity

Giving children Bibles in school doesn’t make them priests.

Acknowledging that God exists and you’re not Him is helping people understand the world around them.

Bro… why you frothing at the mouth?

How about Rest In Power? PBUH? Death to Putin?

Actually - try Hail the Messiah. They can’t ban that one.

You can’t tell me that that many Somalis are already naturalized American citizens.

Obama smiles.

That’s pretty much their SOP. Once the election is over or this narrative drops from the spotlight they’ll switch back to whichever source supports the current narrative.

Trump should campaign on this. “I’m so powerful I can change the definitions of words. No, it’s true! Watch me!”

I was. Makes it a double entendre!

It's a chicken and egg problem.

Yeah - you shouldn't need a requirement to pass law and the founding fathers wanted it that way as well with laws being written so that even the most common man could understand them.

But we don't write laws on one page of paper now (let alone a constitution) they take up tens of thousands of pages with contradictory gotchas and hidden agendas.

The point of passing the bar is similarly the same point to being a tax preparer (albeit more complex) - that you show competency and understanding of parsing laws as written and court procedures.

Otherwise you have laymen thinking they can practice law because they saw a few episodes of CSI! Or not even high school educated people representing themselves in a murder case and putting forth the argument that dey be innocent because dey be innocent and she was a whore anyway and her shit was all fucked up! blah blah blah!

Go ahead and say it...

Black peoples iz too stupids to pass tests so it's not a requirement no mos.

But no.. .that's NOT racist at all!

Just an update from the future - Distant Worlds has been sending me concert updates and Susan Calloway does not appear on any future updates.

Like I was going to go to Chicago ANYWAY anymore.

Obligatory Stonetoss: “How does this sell more Advil?”

“Advil?”

Part of this is “the narrative” but this is also what they’re training marketers and advertisers as a valid technique and it’s not necessarily wrong. Rather than buy on product value/quality - you market products on a moral campaign. To wit - if you’re not buying this, the bad guys win. It’s an extension of the “bandwagon” advertising strategy but it’s flipped over. Instead of “Everybody’s buying this, you should be too” (FOMO) you’ve got the “you NEED to buy this or you’re one of THEM.” (We will force you out?)

This guy isn’t a real dev.

Went to a gaming school to become a gaming artist and was so successful that immediately became a marketer and then a “game consultant” with less experience than my aunt fanny with Roblox.

Of course he likes the President that can’t tell a cohesive story and just jumps from tangent to tangent.

I still can’t figure out these “ima intellektual, atheist, who loves science” types who have some obvious rational thinking skills and yet are so incredibly stupid and gullible. Covid really ripped the mask off…

These same outraged, virtue signaling leftists would be the first ones in line to demand Down’s syndrome babies be aborted for their own quality of life.

I work professionally in a shop that’s making use of amazons AI tool.

I’m seeing the same things you are. The code it spits out, while eerily identical to my style/naming conventions is almost always worthless about 80% of the time. Either generating a simplistic solution that doesn’t actually do what I need, creating module/function names out of thin air (surprised me the first time I saw that - “whoa - I didn’t know that library could do that, excellent… that makes this task a lot easier and… oh… it doesn’t…”), or writing one line of code that saves me all of 5 seconds.

Where it works for me is for simple, grunt tasks like writing a switch statement to transform an object. Or for when I have coders block or a function I don’t want to have to write it can sometimes spit out some code that gets me far enough along I can complete the task. IF it’s simple enough. If you’re doing asynchronous call handling forget it!

Fast food assembly lines allowed them to deliver at scale better than regular restaurants, true. But lunch and dinner prices (as well as different/restricted menus) are practiced by both types for the same reason, economics. McDonald's franchisees hated having all day breakfasts even though corporate insisted it brought in more people and that only reverted when Covid came along. My local McDonalds has certain items that are only available during prime business hours and not after a certain time. The prices have also been changing on at least a weekly basis if not more often as the price for my Saturday breakfast burrito habit keeps changing. Honestly - I can't see Wendy's or any other restaurant truly implementing "surge" pricing and this is just a euphemism for intra-day price changes to get on the buzzword bingo chart, with AI tossed in for good measure. How's it going to work with 20 people in line and person #9 gets his burger for $5 but person #10 gets charged $9 for theirs and poor person #20 gets charged $13!!

These are the same people that think a man is a woman after whacking off his penis and taking hormones. Hell - not even whacking off the penis, just taking hormones makes a man a woman.

These people live in complete lala land devoid of reality.
