Depends on the game itself but Just being able to mod the game internally is already a pretty big deal. MM recompiled for example adds way more options than emulation, it’s got widescreen support, higher framrates, control and menu changes, gyroscopic aim, analog camera, autosaving, and there’s already a shitload of mods for it.
Recompilation has been a game changer for N64 emulation, it would be awesome to see for other hard to emulate platforms.

Yeah, from what I remember Blonde would talk about Matt’s wife like they got along really well. That’s too bad, Matt definitely killed the Golden Goose with Blonde. Whatever problems they were having she still added way more value to the show just by reading the superchats and giving the occasional racist quip. Some of his co-hosts are alright in small doses but most of the time it’s just like having another Matt on the stream.
It sounds like Blonde wanted to be friends off-air and Matt just wasn’t into it. The Tenent thing really fucked him over too, everyone in the audience told him that was a bad idea, myself included.
I think Matt said the old shows are archived on rumble or kick or something and he took them down because he was getting content strikes for old episodes.
I still watch his show and generally enjoy it, though a spicy element like Blonde is sorely missed. Even at her worst in the last year or so she added something that he hasn’t been able to get back with any of his guest co-hosts. I watched the Backlash on occasion and liked it more or less, like a lot of listeners I found Reilly very spergy and annoying. I think Blonde works best in a intimate interview setting. I wasn’t aware any of the stuff about Matt’s wife being jewish was confirmed. Disappointing if she was to blame for their deteriorating relationship, although I think their interests just grew too far apart for the show to continue.
