I don't have a problem seeing "Samurai Warrior Yasuke" in Nioh, but why the fuck is he speaking English in an "everyone speaks their natural language" voice track? Especially when William was literally the first Englishman to make contact with the Japanese?
That was NEVER hinted at any point, and only became a point YEARS after the show had ended, in an entirely different series. Seriously, "we injected a serum into your late father before you were born that modified his sperm to contain Bruce Wayne's DNA." Even I gotta say that's some fucked up unbelievable bullshit.
Biggest reason Terry is acceptable is it's a different fucking era. Bruce was literally elderly, yet never lost his touch, only his capacity for physical activity. They keep trying to have Miles replace Pete in his prime.
This is nowhere near the same.
I was getting the impression it was a limited sort of screening, but that's not the case at all. Even my local theater has it, and is showing well into next week, so I might go see it on next Tuesday (where they do $5 Tuesday tickets).
Who's actually making it, who are they making it for, and what is their intent with making it, is the question. I know nothing about that AppleTV series. I just know Godzilla Minus One is made by Toho, mostly for a traditional Japanese audience (but of course welcome international viewing too should they desire to).
That's basically the first thing that comes to mind whenever Wikipedia is even mentioned.
