I'm not trying to teach you anything, obviously I figured you were smart enough to have known that already. I'm giving an example of how adaptations have continued and will continue for centuries.
I just think it's funny that oftentimes this sub is just people finding things to complain about. I love Lord of the Rings. I'm watching it with my pals at the end of the month. Gonna read the book as well. I would never know about this or even think about this because I'm content with the old material as well.
Positivity is, as a whole, a good reaction. Negativity, literally, worsens health and outlook.
Yeah everyone here is doing a great job ignoring it by bitching about it lol
I’m sure Netflix is sooo upset that a thread is being made on a podunk website where 50 people who never were going to watch the movie anyway complain about it. They “deserve” it I guess
A shitty adaptation takes nothing away from the original works. Shakespeare was written for all male theater performers. Adaptations are made not as some sort of “importance” thing, but just as a new retelling.
The book is great. The original movie is great. If you ask me there’s not really any reason for someone to try and just make the movie again. If someone wants to make another version where there is a new element, then great. If it’s shitty, oh well. I don’t have to watch it, you don’t have to watch it. What’s the use of complaining?
And yet, everyone here seems to act like it’s the end of the world for a network to do a shitty remake.
Just let it get made and ignore it. Life isn’t worth getting all broken up about a movie franchise
Look at OP’s post. Look at the other comments. People are already preparing reactions to how much they won’t like it.
Poor guy gets mad when he's called out for being a twat. More news at 11.
Maybe instead of crying and moaning when someone doesn't agree with you blindly, maybe try proposing some, I don't know, actually intelligent practices?
Pretty good! I've got about $50K in savings, I'm still in my job where I make decent money (>100K), and I've got a comfortable place to live in a condo in a big city. I've got enough money for luxuries.
Mid 30s, no marriage, no kids.
One of us is.
Aw you sure are a special little girl! One of us is! You're so good at counting and understanding that while one of us (you) might be retarded, the other one (me) isn't! That's what makes learning so fun.
Yes, I have.
You haven't. But it's okay. Your illiteracy may improve one day!
I enjoy hanging out in the podunk groups
