Yeah, I don’t think he’s necessarily “deep state compromised” or whatever. I do think he has some bad instincts, puts his ideal outcomes ahead of reality, and is the type of person to potentially sink the ship in a dumb attempt to get his way. See: voting against the border wall because all spending is bad spending.
I’m not all in on Massie bad, but neither am I going to play the “Massie’s a true patriot, and Trump never should have called him out!” game. The outcome I’m hoping for here is that Massie concedes to follow a bit more of Trump’s agrnda, and Trump starts being friendly with him in return.
Also, posts like the picture in OP just feel like ballwashing. Every politician can put some fiery slogan on their door. It’s about half a step up from a bumper sticker on their car, and is pretty much the lowest bar I can imagine for political action. But because Massie did it, he’s such a brave firebrand.
I'll add "The Boy and the Heron" to the list of good movies, if you don't mind animated stuff. Speaking of which, I've heard a lot of good things about Flow but haven't watched that one myself.
It’s possible they’re priced out of moving, or need to stay there for work.
They could bring in trans athletes as scabs. The quality of play would probably improve a little.
Then we have to play this game where chuds map all their fascist race ideology onto it.
This coming from the same bloc that has been endlessly screeching about this show for almost two years because they literally can't watch it and accept that the fictional demons are irredeemable, because they keep projecting themselves and/or their favorite brown people onto them.
urination corner.
Look, I get that she's a spiteful animal who takes pleasure in wrecking other people's things. I understand that if she even has a sense of shame, it probably responds to very different things than mine. But I don't understand how she isn't bothered by living in her own filth on a personal level. Doesn't it stink? Doesn't she feel dirty?
Massie strikes me as the same sort of guy as Rand Paul. Right on a lot of issues, but also prone to making perfect the enemy of good. Nothing would get done if Massie was president.
Maybe I’m being technologically ignorant, but is there any particular reason to assume that the IP addresses accurately reflect the origin?
I haven't played, but this thread from c/gaming has some complaints that may or may not be relevant to you. I've also heard it's not well-optimized, but I don't know how bad an optimization job we're talking about, exactly.
To be honest, that's an example of Woke More Correct. That is the fundamental principle of the stock market; famously, there was even a lawsuit against Ford back in the company's early days in which the Dodge brothers sued Ford—and won—over plans to cut stockholder benefits in favor of expanding the company, cutting prices, and raising wages.
Justine Damond is the white woman that got shot by that Somali police officer, Mohammed Noor. That’s the first one that comes to mind for me.
👏WITH 👏 CLAPPING 👏 EMOJIS 👏
Anyone who gives Newsom any sort of credit or credibility on this shift—and others I expect to see from him in the near future—immediately outs themselves as a moron. This is perhaps the most transparent pivot towards the middle in preparation for a presidential run that I have ever seen.
I agree with you in principle, but culturally I’m pretty sure that the roles are a little different and so the distinction might be valuable. For instance, I think most Thais understand that “lady boys” are men with a fetish—there’s not an equivalent cultural lobby there pushing that “NO, THEY’RE REAL WOMEN!”
Sure, but he’s stuck for long enough that it’s realistically a ring-out.
Lol, do they not realise how much worse this continues to make Korra?
If they were capable of thinking through implications or maintaining internal consistency in their settings, Korra’s story would have been written much differently in the first place. It’s really incredible that they managed to make something as good as the original ATLA. From what I understand, even the post-ATLA comics that followed the original characters after the events of that series did an impressive job of disappointing fans. Were there other writers involved in the original that were not in for the sequel products?
I support this too, not because I think the school has any debt to her, but because I want schools to worry about the potential consequences of giving a free pass to barely-literate retards more than they worry about “being mean” by holding them back.
It’s incredible that Ubisoft took the one Assassin’s Creed concept that everyone had wanted for such a long time and turned it into a constant comedy of unforced errors. If there was any sort of competency and passion left, “Assassin’s Creed in late Sengoku period Japan” would have been the thing to revitalize the series, but instead it’s become the ultimate example of everything wrong with AAA development.
I don’t know, but I think the best possible response would be to sperg out about ConPro botnets.
You want someone like Robert Mueller, who is respected on both sides, and where it will be very difficult for them to try to impugn his impartiality.
The problem with that is that people like Robert Mueller tend to be people like Robert Mueller. Anyone “respected” by the establishment of the right and the left is almost certainly in that “respected” position because they will play along with the corruption. On the off chance that you can find someone who is respected on both sides that also has the qualifications and is either a person of genuine integrity or is not yet compromised enough that they can’t be lured away by a perceived shift in the winds of power—a trifecta of traits that is nigh impossible to find in combination—all it will take is one set of headlines about “Richard Miller sides with the Nazi conspiracy theorists!” and all that “bipartisan respect” is out the window. Think about how much reddit et. al. worshipped Elon or Rowling, and how quickly and completely that adoration disappeared as soon as they put one toe out of line and became the enemy du jour.
There will never be a genuine investigator that’s “respected by both sides,” because one of the sides is composed almost entirely by NPC media drones with no memories and the corrupt people who run them.
I really think it’s him refusing to see funding Israel as anything other than “something it’s obvious you do.”
“The straightforward reason to pimp out my daughter is it’s the way the world works. My daughter will be able to trade sex for favors throughout her life. My son will not.”
It surprised me, and then my immediate reaction was that I shouldn’t have been surprised. Insane delusion aside, I bet they’re more competent as a team than any of the women’s teams that used actual women.
I also predict that no matter how good or bad they are, if given long enough, the team will collapse in a horrifying sex scandal.
The fact that it was successful at release is part of what’s disqualifying, but the real contradiction in the sentence is that it implies its current status is cult classic, which doesn’t work with Library of Congress recognition. For example, if I were writing or reading some sort of retrospective on The Thing, I might expect to use or see a sentence like “unsuccessful at release, The Thing would gain status as a cult classic before eventually reaching widespread acceptance and acclaim.” Once a cult classic reaches a high level of popularity, it stops being a cult classic at all.
Is your reading comprehension really below the level of “one complete sentence”?
