To counter the argument in the top right, especially for the states in the right hand column - many of the states receiving money from the federal government are getting it for interstate highway infrastructure that must be maintained in order for the rest of the country to function. If the "flyover states" stopped receiving this money, then they would have to charge tolls to ship things over their territory. National infrastructure must be cared for somehow.
This reminds me of a Ronald Reagan joke:
An American tells a Russian that people in USA have the freedom of speech and that he even could go to the White House and shout: "Go to hell, Ronald Reagan!"
The Russian answers: "Oh, we also have freedom of speech. I, too, can go to Kremlin and shout: "Go to hell, Ronald Reagan!"
I mean, it's a good way to see who is a fellow traveler. It takes five seconds to do (unless you want to get creative), and it could lead to a worthwhile conversation. Networking and finding like-minded people is step one.
A real-world example is bumperstickers. I have a sticker which is the logo for a particular website on my vehicle, and to people who recognized it, I got past the "fed tests" and to their real opinions much faster.
The British government wouldn't arrest the Sikhs for defending themselves like they would the native British. Still, the solution remains the same - gang up anyway, and if the cops come for you, present a united front. A slight against one is a slight against all. If you force the bobbies to finally bring out the guns, good. Make them show their true faces. That way the masses will finally understand.
I mean, most anime watchers I know pirate them anyways. 1*$0+$0=$0. The real solution is for Hollywood to make movies worth watching again. I am pretty sure that the Revenge of the Sith rerun that my local theater put on was more profitable for them than a lot of newer movie showings are.
Middle eastern suicide bomber drones - yet another example of technology taking opportunities away from the working class.
