Lazy people demanding "free money"

Are they actually giving away free money? Last time I checked there we paltry few handouts given to actual people and a huge number of handouts to businesses and the exact wealthy people they pretend to be fighting against.

"free preschool" - indoctrinate your kids with stress and neurosis even earlier.

"free eye exams for seniors" - it sounds nice but if you've been to the eye doctor lately you know they'll resell you the same pair of glasses every 2 years and fill it with the crappiest most expensive lens material they sell

"negotiating on prescription prices" - this is fine but it doesn't sound like it will actually affect me as it only affects if the gov is buying the medication

Equality

Racism.

and robbing others for their wealth

You know, I don't care about this much because returning the tax rate to where it was before is hardly "robbing" rich people.

But it seems like they're just transferring wealth from one group of rich people to another.

Could you be thinking of Wesley and Robin Lefler played by Ashley Judd? She was a perfect sex nymphette and sciency

Yup.

but even Wil Wheaton played the role slightly better than LeVar lol.

Way easier to play a "she ends up with him" role.

I guess ultimately my point here is there are different qualities of actor. With the exception Patrick Stewart and a handful of others, nobody in the show was actually a good actor. So LeVar being incapable of pulling off a romantic scene without turning off the audience isn't because of him being a victim of 'racist' writers, that's how he is in real life.

He gets rejected because the script is written to have him get rejected, it's not determined by how good his performance. I think it's awkward because the woman is way to hot and normal, and they're trying to get him to play Lt Barkley basically, which is like trying to get patrick stewart to play a roided up bodybuilder - it's just not possible.

I think it's the tired "nerd gets the girl" trope which is annoying.

As for "racist writers" - who's the biggest Chad in the show? It's the other black guy with the forehead ridge. I would go as far as saying the writers were romance-phobic towards the white characters lol....worf got more action than anyone, and the only character who's lovelife wasn't just a 1-episode thing. Riker got relegated to what - a holodeck character?

Worf was the gigachad of the show.

What you're saying is funny but I don't really agree. I don't think levarr was incapable of seeming normal around a woman, I think episode was trying to get him to act like barkley and it's to much of a stretch.

He's trying to be cringy here, but part of it is that it doesn't match the character or actor:
https://youtu.be/RphWASTSvJ8

The scene with the "real girl" is even wprse to me, because there's no way a girl this hot and normal-emotional reacts like this:
https://youtu.be/8z31gO1YcNQ

If you imagine the scene as between reginald barkley and way more autist girl, then it makes sense. Modern SJW's are the perfect representation of what the kind of girl these lines would be written for would be like - loud, controlling, emotionally unstable, and nowhere near as attractive as they have this actress being. Pair that off with barkley and the scene would make sense.

Come to think of it, isn't Worf the only character with a love interest plotline that spans most than 1 episode?

There was that klingon woman at the beginning that resulted in alexander plotline.
He went on to date Deanna Troy for a while.

Isn't it actually that the only character to have a dating arch longer than an episode was the other character played by a black guy?

I remember running across other episodes and thinking that thpe writers must have watched this one, found it cringy, and went in 2 directions with it:

  • "Nerd Forgiveness": wesley crusher has almost the same episode except she's into him and also super hot and they agree to date forever or something at the end

  • "Reginald Barclay": I felt like they created reginald barkley based on the character geordi was "supposed" in the script in this episode. Match barkley up with like the actress who played ensign roe - psychologically kind damaged and unsteady - and the episode would make a ton more sense.

Not shown in this video, but in the wrap up, one of the comments points out how there is some parallel in the fact that the dissident movements and alt-tech are becoming the hubs of culture in the modern era, while "mainstream" culture is becoming dull and stagnant.

Maybe this is related to why they declared such a war on it and demanded to invade it.

I haven't seen the episode in a while but it seems like you're just repeating some feminist trope.

My recollection was the problem was they wrote her as semi-austic girl, but then they cast her as "perfect girl anime love interest" - the reason was super awkward to watch was the contrast between how her character had poor ability to relate to men vastly over-reacted to everything, while the actress playing her came across "perfect sex nympthet" basically - it just didn't make any sense.

No one had a problem with riker having a holodeck wafu.

Dunno, I kinda have 2 theories for these:
1. Press misquotes him, or -
2. Someone shows up and tells him this is a good idea and "all you troubles are because of race"

If I understand the article right he ends up blocking the company that published the article on twitter?

I agree with the sentiment in something he said:

Surprisingly, shortly after the article was published on December 15th, Burton himself replied to Bounding Into Comics’ official Twitter account writing, “CORRECTION: My comments to @RollingStone were critical about the writer’s insistence on the tired trope of the nerdy guy being uncomfortable around women. I never mentioned love.

When I was watching for it, it was definitely the case that geordi was written as the romantically unsuccessful nerd - a position that doesn't match my experience as he's the respected head of his department. I haven't known a single boss in tech that wasn't either married or at least had kids with a previous wife - or two.

Lying about products

It's been that way forever as part of asian culture.

It's super important to not offend emotions, which quickly turns into lying and telling you what you want to hear.

Seems like it's never a battle "against the thing" as much as it's a battle "to be the sole entity doing the thing".

South St Paul is a small city, only thing that's there is a "commemorative" air base of old ww2 planes.

Look at this list childlike manipulation:

Some critics say the bill harms free speech, while others say it fails to recognise the high levels of online violence toward women - the NSPCC said it must be strengthened and have children at its heart.

"Fail to recognize" something madeup that doesn't exist (you literally can't be violent online).

"Think of the children"

I hate to say this, but you're honestly better off with your online platform just filtering them. Worst case is you can't exchange pics with your spouse or whatever. Once they pass a law you know feminists are going to manipulate and abuse it as hard as they can.

When a former friend of mine started getting pulled into this crap, he started more and more going on and in about how the exact things he just told me he was doing were bad if other people were doing them.

Has there ever been an antisex group that doesn't turn out to be full of the exact people they're villifying?

Seems like it plays out more as a "trying to get rid of my competition" thing more than actually being against it.

I always imagine people of other ethnicities look at what a shit-show politicians do with black, and whites, and go "whoa whoa whoa - let's stay the f**k out of this".

Guys pic kinda reminds me of me in high school and early college. In retrospect I would have had success with some of these girls had I realized they were protecting their ego in thinking "if he's interested he'll make a move on me".

Even the hair...damn...I look through my old pics and sometimes my hair looks great, and sometimes it's awful like in this pic.

I took a picture of a girl just like this and sent it to her, invited her to come back, yada yada yada...eventually she dates someone else and keeps dropping hints at me that I "took to long" like she wanted to dig it in letting me know she had been interested but lost interest because I wasn't doing anything.

However, that is definitely the look of a guy who convinces himself he is only single because there aren’t enough women in his field.

He's been subtley overdominated by a parent.

He's capable of figuring things out and changing, so he probably would stop being single if he had enough exposure to women his age to realize they don't actually respond well to poor fashion and endlessly letting himself be rolled over.

Depends in whether he could gain the perspective to understand what's actually going on, or whether he remains to self conscious about it to realize it.

Truth was, some of the earliest coders were women and most of those stopped because they got out-competed when men joined the field as part of the computer/video game revolution.

Women were in the field - when coding was simple (primitive computers were so slow you could only do so much).

Women left the field - when computers got faster and coding got complicated.

Men started leaving field - when coding got to complicated even for them.

Coding made a lot if money - so men invented ways to make coding simpler.

Older women wanted to move into cushy high paid management positions so they used "women in coding" to provide cover.

I could write a whole wall of text on the various things women go through to get out of coding once they realize what it's actually like - women still don't actually want to be in coding for the most part. Men often reach this same point around their 30's or 40's where the tedium starts to get to them and they try to move into other positions - management, sales, anything else.

I kind of felt bad for her. She didn't claim credit.

I saw this on some other group, seems to be their planned coordinated tactic.

Girl literally just takes pic like "Here I am, part of the team" as like a casual thing, then some crazed-psycho feminist comes along pushing some make believe story stealling credit for the guys work.

If there's a reason, it's likely not their own sense or morality, but that every time another feminist attack and purge happens, bidens poll numbers sink.

I saw someone had an interesting point - I think on here but I'm not sure - that the conditions they've created are what often result in a takeover by the military. People are just so frieking sick of the shitshow they'd welcome a strong coercive leader who sits people down, shuts them up, and lets you go about your business if you stay out of politics.

I don't think it would really be the military, but I'd personally strongly say Trump getting elected was a direct result of the shitshow they kicked up. You could literally watch hillaries poll numbers drop and trumps go up the more louder the feminist push got.

Don't mean to sound overly optimistic, I just have seem some of the feminist-fanatics banned etc - sometimes.

I understand you point that it wasn't a bot account.

At the same time...your other comment says -

Yep. I lost my shitposting account.

If they actually shut down feminist shitposting accounts I think it would be worth losing the non-feminist ones as well. I share a lot of skepticism they'll actually be fair, but at the same time a lot of these things eventually come down to these places being tired of being in the middle of the whole shitshow. "Everybody OUT!" so to speak.
