This was a logical response by Alex.
Alex Jones is a nutjob with many nutty theories. However I think they aren't afraid of him for what he gets wrong but rather what he gets right, such as the Oklahoma retaliation explosive attack. The best part about Alex Jones is Owen Shroyer and National File.
Twitter is likely to be attacked and certain to continue to be threatened. Despite my hope for a moderate improvement of the situation on Twitter, I think it is best to not rely on it and to do now what we should have done years ago:
- Build up alternative communications platforms
- Bring others away from main-stream social media (MSSM) to there

Concretely, this certainly means that Twitter is going to manipulate Trending. Probably also ranking in search. Twitter is headed the route of insidious mind manipulation where people aren't even fully aware of being manipulated.

Their leader has them following his command, doing stupid things, and gatekeeping to keep them from working productively with other groups. They disparage groups which have done much activism over a long period of time. If PF are not feds, people should still not join and rather do something more productive. Join another group. Start another group.
By the way, if you start another group, depending on circumstances, you may wish to avoid having a leader or organization. You may make yourself subject to fewer laws that way. I've seen suspicious people try to get leaders appointed in chat rooms -- where they were not needed. Your call.
Forget Twitter promoters. There are better alternatives. Anyone not using them doesn't deserve our attention.
