Are you perhaps using a definition of "forced out" that is different from everyone else?

At the end of 2023, the Moslem population of Israel was estimated at 1.782 million (18.1% of all residents) – an increase of 35,000 compared with the end of 2022.

The annual growth rate of the Moslem population in 2023 was 2.0% (2.2% in 2022).

Nearly 20 percent of the country is Muslim, and it is growing. They just are not Hamas terrorists.

That sounds like sharing their ancestral lands to me.

How does it suck?

Seriously, the wealth generated and the quality of products that come out of modern factories is leaps and bounds above that of small workshops without production lines.

Yes, people have had to retrain. Yes the economy has shifted because Computer Industries (like Google) make as much money as the US Steel industry for the same revenues, with vastly less people BUT the US can do both.

Do you wish that everyone was wearing expensive, fragile mechanical watches for a month's pay each, and riding around in Model T fords so we can have higher employment figures? That is the trade off. I don't miss watchmakers.

Fuck integration. Live services are worse than Always Online copy protection.

Write a decent script, record voice lines. Don't cancel my game when the support runs out for a stupid gimmick.

Palestine is so much worse. Everywhere Palestinians go, they establish terrorist groups and start revolts and wars. Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon.

The Lebanese civil war (which destroyed the country) was started by waves of Muslim immigrants from Palestine. The country is a hot-house for breeding religious extremist terrorists; they kill anyone in their community that suggests they choose a moderate path. The country has been isolated even amongst strongly Muslim nations.

Israel isn't awesome, but they export something other than terrorists and death.

Gasp, are you saying that the Jews replaced the Arabs who replaced the Christians?

If only we'd let the children Muslim invaders keep the land that they had rightfully stolen from the locals! How could we have been so cruel as to let this happen?!

AI Tools are a Pandora's box, because it is so powerful. It empowers people, which means that it makes it easier to do whatever they wanted to do.

Most of the time, what they wanted to do is work just hard enough to not get fired. This means they can be even lazier than before. I've seen teachers use AI tools for lesson planning, students use AI for writing their homework and the teachers use it for marking.

At the moment, big money from the top end of town is influencing the market. People are not getting to choose merit through the market. Disney can make flop after shitty flop because they don't care if they loose 300 million. Ubisoft and EA can make terrible games because they don't care if they sell or not.

Hopefully the shake-out of new technology will meet the accountability of a real market an we can have new companies making new entertainment and actually getting paid for it. We have seen some new independent projects launch pilots on YouTube, and then get funding.

Things are going to get a lot worse before they get better.

For the record, I don't hate AI; but I think that most people are selfish, willfully ignorant morons, who are empowered by AI tools. Outsourcing actual thinking to something (corporate managed) that has less neurons than a garden slug has the potential to be the worst thing that ever happened to civilization.

Differences in price don't have a linear effect, they have an exponential effect; they also have inertia as supplie chains shift and empty out, etc.

When applied it mans that the adjustments go: "Not enough, not enough, not enough, WAY TOO MUCH!" while there is a lag of months between cause and effect.

Perhaps 10% is too low, but it is a lot better than none. He also got the market panic out of the way and now the tariff is in place.

If in a year Trump wants to raise the tariffs to 12% (which would be a fucking huge jump) then it won't be a big deal. Not only that, if he signals the new tariff hike, he'll get companies to make plans to onshore supplies early.

Trumps strategy with the Tariffs has been a brilliant management of foreign relations and the media circus.

Yes, I hope he puts them up (even though I don't live in the USA, and it will hurt my country); but I am happy with the way things have gone.

Every meaningful technological advancement has come from Europe and small parts of the Middle East.

I recently asked a good friend if he could think of a single thing that was invented in Africa.

His response: "Slavery?"

Can you think of anything that was invented there? The bone harpoon might have been invented in Africa, thirty thousand years ago; but it probably wasn't.

When the jealous crabs pull everyone down into their bucket with them, we won't have enough intelligence or organization to keep the lights on.

Then why is he being a douche when I point out we are, as a whole, entirely fucking skeptical of every form of media outside some well known, consistent sources? Even then we keep waiting for them to jump the shark.

Did SmiggieBalls not notice KiA2's response to the COVID19 bullshit? Or the Pro Palestinian bullshit? Why are the conservatives suddenly gullible chumps now?

I didn't start this journey conservatives AF. Not that long ago I was pro immigration and very left leaning. I remember that early in the adventure, there was a political survey of KiA, and that most people there were left-leaning. In general, we have been very open to accepting uncomfortable facts and changing our mind.

I have been, and continue to be, dubious about deep state, including pro-Israel, influence within Trump's government. I think most people here are the same.

Feel free to engage with the subject rather than squirting ad hominin bullshit.

If I am wrong then show me how. If you disagree, then say why.

So far you've turned up and told me that conservatives are gullible; then explained that you don't like me because I am confident in my areas of expertise. Feel free to educate me, guy. I am happy to learn.

But so far you are really not impressing me with your intellect. Your ability to coherently make an argument really needs work. Want some pointers? No? I guess you are happy the way you are.

I'd just like to take a moment to marvel at where things have taken us.

How it started: "I just want to play vidia games."

How it is going: "Deus Vult!"

I can't decide if you are a sophisticated troll or unironically based.

The sentiment pre-dates Christianity by quite a bit. It is more or less what the ancient Greeks thought about women. That if they were not protected from themselves that they would let their self-centered, animalistic passions lead them to self-destructive behavior.

There is a very good reason that: "women and children" is a fairly common term. Both are protected classes and can't really be held responsible for themselves.

Modern women vacillate between "helpless infant" and "powerful, independent woman" in the space of a sentence. They pick whichever one gives them the largest benefit in any given circumstance.

Guy, do you know where you are?

I'll give you a hit. KIA's motto is literally: "Trust but Verify."

Are you new here? Do you want to recall why we got together, as a subreddit? It was because we had, in unison, been sharply made aware that the Games Media had been lying to us for more than a decade, and they fucking hated us.

Strolling up in the last five minutes and deciding that you are talking to gullible, right-wing chumps is a bit ... well, fucking dumb.

8
DemolitionsPanda 8 points ago +8 / -0

Or you know, we verify it?

What kind of moron would just gulp down any slop fed to them by the main stream media, just because it confirmed their biases?

Oh yeah. Redditors, Boomers, and Normies. Nevermind.

Spin off Quebec as it's own country, as it is a political headache and a massive nett loss.

The USA can invade Quebec and finally put those damn French separatist in their place.

Some are generic mutations. The first one on the list is a recessive mutation in a single family in rural Africa. There are documentaries on it with interviews.

It impacts about ten living people, who grow up into surprisingly normal males and are very clear they are male.

The growing a penis at age 12 is a mutation which happens in exactly one family in rural Africa. There are something like ten living people who this has happened to, and they are all pretty clear they are men.
