I recently asked a good friend if he could think of a single thing that was invented in Africa.

His response: "Slavery?"

Can you think of anything that was invented there? The bone harpoon might have been invented in Africa, thirty thousand years ago; but it probably wasn't.

When the jealous crabs pull everyone down into their bucket with them, we won't have enough intelligence or organization to keep the lights on.
