I’ve been playing it and even thought about making a post about it but so far it’s Solid. Definitely more Survival Horror than action but it does pay homage to the OG while changing things up a bit. I’m up to the Salazar Boss fight but one oft he things I’ve noticed is some of the plot definitely breaks the show don’t tell aspect that the original did.. it’s never going to be as groundbreaking Or possibly memorable as the OG was but it makes for an interesting side grade on the original game. Also Ashley screaming for Leon whence gets rekt is still enjoyable

Ok so after watching the interview there’s no real meat to how “big” her role is. In the original her plot line ties into a lot of the big picture stuff happening while Leon is rescuing Ashley & also how las plagas ends up in Africa during RE5. Additionally she does save him a few times in the game & he does as well so there’s that. Obviously there are dialogue changes that have already been covered but until I see more details I’m still skeptical.

I’ve been a fan of the OG and have 100% completed it on Wii & the PS4 HD version so I was kinda hype that this was coming out, but with more stuff such as this and the fact Ashley is wearing a skort instead of a skirt along with the removal of the “ballistics” quote makes me think this maybe I should pick up a pre-owned copy vs buying it after initial release.
