SFO’s US political takes have always been garbage.
I like some of his culture war coverage and video game stuff. I think his going into the corruption of the igda, esa, and the indie clique is great stuff. But he has awful views on the US political situation, which I believe comes from not knowing US laws.
Release window and spectacle kind of films is a better way of describing it. His films are more like amusement park rides. Stories kind of lame but it looks pretty. What Avatar as a series suffers from is a ham fisted political narrative trying to take center stage in what should be a roller coaster.
Dude you don’t have to condemn something to not be involved. I’m sure there are a billion bad ideas I’ve never condemned and I don’t have to condemn them to not be in support. Have fun with your stupid purity test. We know you hate her because the organs she was born with.
Lucas Arts made more non Star Wars games than Star Wars games, and this was way before the Disney acquisition. Schafer founded double fine and has been there ever since. Squanch games did high on life and one of the Rick and Morty Guys is the key figure behind that.
Tim Schafer has been dumb his entire career and has made a ton of ok games. I’ve liked a lot of games he’s worked on well enough pre 2014 where i didn’t feel like I was ripped off but not so much that I’ve ever recommended them to anyone other than brutal legend, and that was because of the music the game play was just ok. Double fine could could literally have the slogan we make average stuff at best.
Well their original content would be rated pg13 if released in cinemas. Not exactly the content you create to attract parents of children to subscribe for. I’ve got coworkers who talked about how crazy they were driven by watching frozen a billion times with their kids always having it on. At a certain point the dvd is cheaper than streaming when the kids are entertained by the same film.
I wonder if Disney is paying him to poor gasoline on the dumpster fire that is DC
