You're getting tripped up on the subtle distinction between the corporation as a whole and the horsefaced bitch who pulled the trigger on that retardation. I dont have any doubt at all she was out to push an agenda. I have plenty of doubt that this entire debacle is all part of some grand plan by Bud Light. Funnily enough this distinction is also present in the Stonetoss analogy you brought up lmfao.

ya'll

FWIW I appreciate your posts and contributions regardless of the title, but I think the complain is less so that you aren't making it fun, and more so that often the titles are a garbled mess that require multiple reads to process. This one is good though.

Actual pedophiles who have acted on their desires do deserve the wood chipper. That being said, as with any case of the government sentencing someone to death, there should need be proof so thorough and incontrovertible before such a sentence can be handed down.

Quite the contrary; Budweiser is already reversing this decision and distancing themselves.

Is this not at odds with the implication that billion dollar companies are so smart and wouldn't make the wrong decision? Or is the idea that all of this, including them backing down, is part of their grand plan?

The ending for that show was pretty decent too. I still listen to it every now and then.

Kawaki wo ameku by Minami is an absolute banger and if I recall it was used as an opening for some shitty ecchi show a few years back. Good idea for a discussion topic though I would probably have more to add if I was at my computer and could look over my MAL.

EDIT: anything associated with the High School of the Dead anime. Maon Kurosaki (may she rest in peace) did a fabulous job on the endings for that one.

Oh shit I was just thinking about how I hadn't seen him around lately. That's unfortunate. I hope he just made another account or something. His takes made me raise an eyebrow at times but he brought a unique perspective and really added to the activity of the board.

My buddy has been doing some subbing while he gets his masters in education and the stories he has told me are horrifying. I recently went back to my high school for the first time in 7 or 8 years and it was as if it had been taken over by some sort of conquering force. Black people worship on every classroom door (it was February). Also a random door with a big rainbow and pro drag statements out of nowhere. I'm a pretty stoic person and I was choking up walking through the halls.

Haven't started anything because I am trash and have been very busy lately. I'm trying to finiah Tensei Oujo from last season before I touch this season.

Will definitely check out Konosuba and Oshi no Ko. Will hit up Yome, KnY, and Stone whenever I get around to getting caught up on their prequels.

Nah, if one of these was happening in my town I would probably attend to document and record it to expose them to normies who pretend this shit isn't real.

Because they aren't good at school period. It doesn't matter if they're in a school where the math program is decent and they've been presented all of the material already. If they're getting Cs, Ds, and Fs in their courses, they're going to do poorly when that same material shows up on a standardized test. Asians tend to get A's in their classes, so they do well when that same material shows up on a standardized test.

Perhaps it's splitting hairs, but I dont think scoring very high on that test makes one particularly great at math (although I would say doing terribly probably means you suck at it). This is because these tests aren't all that advanced.

The fact of the matter is you don't have to be a math wizard to score decently high on the SAT and other tests like that. You'll learn essentially everything you need to ace those tests by 10th or 11th grade if you're in a non shit school.

Really sorry to hear that man. It is just so damn alien to me. How the hell does someone even get like that? I am pretty damn opinionated but I just couldn't imagine tossing away such an old friend for something so trivial.

Bouldabassed 2 points ago +2 / -0

It would be hilarious if it weren't so damn sad. A good friend of mine just poof into nothing. She went off the absolute deep end.

If you visit the site on a device when you're signed out it is very eye opening to see what hordes of normies are being blasted with daily.

Another win for physiognomy. I'm convinced I can literally see the craziness in their eyes.

Gillette is the only boycott I've actually been able to participate in because usually I'm not buying these shitty products in the first place. What am I supposed to do though, write an occasional scathing post on social media about them? No thanks. I'll just continue to never buy anything from them ever again. And I guarantee there are plenty more like me.

Recent election shenanigans and fortification have overshadowed the fact that 2020 was not the first presidential election in history that was stolen. There have been a few here and there with JFK's likely being one of them.

I never said or implied that. That comment is less so whining that the age is set to 18 and more so bashing the types of people who act super offended and start screeching the second you imply you don't consider anyone who finds a girl under 18 attractive a pedophile.

These types of people are at least somewhat tolerable when they're normies, because they are a product of their surroundings and don't think for themselves. But it gets a little exasperating over time when you hang around in circles where the common opinion is that the government is shit and that modernity is clown world BS that should be rejected. You run into a surprising number of people in those crowds who get super defensive over the arbitrary 18 number set by the US government that is completely removed from any traditional way of doing things.

I'm not exactly well-read on the newest developments in evolutionary theory so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't there been developments within the past decade that have made people question the out of Africa theory? Pretty sure at some point there were competing theories gaining prominence. Could be totally wrong and confusing it with something else though, so someone more knowledgeable on the matter feel free to chime in.

Bouldabassed 8 points ago +8 / -0

You sound like a perfectly reasonable individual. That Boston globe article hits me with a pay wall so I can't read it. Regardless, acting like the arbitrary age of 18 as determined by the US government is sacrosanct is the height of idiocy. Obviously there needs to be a cutoff somewhere, but I reject the ridiculously unnuanced take that anyone who says that cutoff shouldn't be 18 is a pedo.

What is your basis for that, that he visited Epstein Island? It certainly isn't impossible, but he is perhaps the one person I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt there seeing as he represented Epstein in the past. And he has a long track record of holding to the philosophy that he thinks everyone, even the most contemptible people deserve to be represented.

Bouldabassed 4 points ago +5 / -1

None of that is unfair criticism, but that doesn't rise to the level of sycophant grifter, it just means he can have bias in his commentary if it concerns someone he represents. Which should not come as a surprise to anyone, but I can certainly agree he should always strive to be transparent about it, and he usually is.

Philosoraptor has a stick up his ass about anyone that remotely supports Trump, and will twist his mind into a pretzel to criticize anyone who does in any way possible. I've had this exact conversation with him before and it doesn't go anywhere.

Pardon me if I sound frustrated, because I was in an exhausting back and forth that followed this exact general idea yesterday, but it should go without saying that just because I'm willing to defend someone against accusations as intense as being a sycophant grifter, does not mean I am saying I endorse or agree with anything they have ever said or done.

7
Bouldabassed 7 points ago +8 / -1

I could take issue with that and go back and forth with you on whether or not the notion that MAGA and Trump adjacent candidates are dead weight from an election standpoint is backed up by reality, but my experiences with you inform me that such a conversation won't be remotely productive in the least and will just be a waste of time for both of us.

For now, I'll just point out that you clearly have no idea what the word grifter means, and are just using it as another buzzword to fling at people you don't like. Anyone I don't like is a grifter!

I'm sure there was fortification afoot, but it likely didn't make the difference here.
