If only we had a game about a legendary figure like Goemon who travels through Japan and fights enemies in a comical fashion.

I don't know how to tell you this, but that's not enough vitriol to be satire.

Best way to find out is to look for sources on the illegal markets the immigrants ran. The Mafia and others were started as a way to make money and keep things working in the ghetto.

There were periods where a peasant could become a samurai, but he would be given a family name afterwards. This would be a blood soaked era when they needed all the warriors they could get. Most would be sent back to being a peasant. There are forms of Karate entirely from those peasants who wanted to continue teaching how to fight.

Of course there was a black market trade for names. Seven Samurai had a character who did that. The gambling halls and whorehouses often bought names for themselves. It's part of the history of the Yakuza.

That being said, there was no way Yasuke the black samurai existed. Catholic monks are well known for straight up lying wherever they were. I read so many stories of how the European settlers arrived on a day that was to celebrate a god, and somehow the natives all thought these new men must be the gods that it's now a tell for when someone hasn't done their research for history. It all sounds like nonsense.

There are two sections. One is for adults, and people who think it will cost something later. Those toys are priced with that in mind. Then you have the games for actual kids. The price is lower, and the toy is likely about Fortnite or a YouTube character.

Once you recognize this, it becomes very obvious.

Oh it gets better. They stopped and even tore down homeless shelters run by private organizations. These same organizations tend to get jobs and plans for anyone who enters. It's run by a church.

So the city demanded they spend money they didn't have to solve a problem they had terrible ideas for.

I will test that out. I've been using Thread Reader and random nitters.

I've been able to archive them for a while now. The problem is it's only a single post and I often want it and the comments that go with it.

Yeah, I thought about when someone mentioned Assassins Creed Syndicate.

I got to admit, I just couldn't get into WarHammer because it's just too dark for me. I enjoy some games and stuff, but don't feel like calling myself a big fan. If I got miniatures, they would be for decoration and likely 3D printed. I think this proves the death of the brand and they are trying to find other means to survive

Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman and read by Lenny Henry. It's a really good book even if the creators have politics made of fake mink.

Dresden Files read by James Marsters.

All of the works of Tolkien and Son. The Children of Hurin is read by Christopher Lee. It's a tragic tale of heroism and a curse by the very embodiment of evil.

Dream Park by Larry Niven.

The Star Wars books by Timothy Zahn.

The audio play of Neverwhere. Rap chanting monks and a story of a man stuck in the magical part of the London Underground. There is also a sequel that is quite enjoyable.

The Great Lecture series has some nice introductory histories. I felt like a student in class again when I listened to this or that.

Doctor Who audio plays.

A comedian tells jokes, people take the jokes seriously. Stupidity at 11. I hope the same people don't think talking horses walk in bars all the time as well.

There's over 150 games made by them. Some of it really generic.

That would be one of the most hilarious endings I can imagine. Especially if it sells well and gets a big sequel that also sells well.

Yeah, that does sting. Did you know Zelda was semi based on Ultima.

Wow, corruption in Germany!? A leadership that controls using scare tactics and guilt? This has never happened before.
