The problem is these ideas take time. It's not a single generation that does it, but multiple generations. Germans didn't go from outsiders to rulers overnight.

But, then we have to realize the mechanism for that slow down was the speed of travel at that time. Germans could travel faster than Romans. It's actually why so many middle eastern people have trade as a major part of their culture, they are the roads to other lands.

Today, I can drive from Aberdeen to London in 8ish hours depending on traffic. I can get to the other side of Europe in a day pretty easily. I can contact people and do trade with someone around the world with my phone.

Then we have to include propaganda. The English are the best at it. They convinced German Submarine leadership to not use the most effective method for submarines during world war I. They almost convinced the Irish that it was ok to be British. They convinced themselves that they were winning battles in Africa and Europe throughout world war II. All major propaganda is based on their methods and the Canadian system has used it directly.

So, I would guess 2 generations.

I need to read Romero's book. Sandy Peterson is constantly posting about it. Lots of upper management weirdness and demands. I think what killed Microsoft is they had brilliant people who were being told to do stupid stuff because of management that had no idea how anything worked.

Sadly, that also describes a money laundering business. Success is such a trick to people they don't realize it's fake.

As a German with a history degree I giggle a bit. Keep in mind, we didn't try to take over, Rome couldn't expand into various territories. They'd claim 'decisive' victories and then a few years later move the walls back further.

The Germans on the other hand continued to try to trade with Romans. They had an elaborate gate system to enter into Rome, which could be bypassed. Then Rome demanded a special mark on the papers to allow trading. This wasn't useful a few miles inward so that was ignored.

My direct ancestors were used for war. They were so good that eventually Rome had only German soldiers marching around. This worked till Caeser decided he wasn't going to pay us, or some other fool thought it wise to show a decisive win.

In every case it was a perceived dominance vs the reality surrounding them.

We can point to the European colonies in the same way. The native tribes often thought of themselves as dominant and the Europeans as somewhat useful trade partners. It was only after the Europeans took over that the stories of guns germs and steel were told. Even old Western movies didn't show this dominance.

So, a group that is perceived to be useless and easy to manipulate slowly taking over has quite a bit of precedence. China happens to have it as part of their culture. They destroyed more civilizations and made them Chinese this way than any time they had a superior army.

This could be said of China -which owns Tik Tok- to the EU -which owns itself. Heck, rich liberals do it as well.

Yeah, they're a fan of the politics not the actual shows and movies.

What of we did DEI box in Star Wars?

Oh, I would love that!

One of the documents showed that Epstein took people to Afghanistan to shoot at people, mostly farmers. It was arranged by Petraeus.

As a Northwesterner, I thought all the Texas stuff was false because Texans tended to be humble. I finally found out in my 20's that the Rocky mountains intimidated them. Californians have always been wimps so it's not a shock that they thought Texas was full of bullies.

I feel bad about this report. Dr Pepper is very texan.

This report saddens me as I watch the same happen to my home as well.

I'm fairly certain we're getting it, but Trump and others are saying they aren't doing this because of the mess we can see that had already been revealed. When all the biggest names are involved, and you are being threatened with World War 3 for it, you release it as if you don't want to. Then you make sure the redactions can be edited out. You do everything demanded, in a way that everyone can get ahold of it.

We have people like Petraus who arranged for the wealthy to hunt farmers in a military helicopter in Afghanistan. You have the ritualized baby eating. You have the James Bond villainy. Then we find out the villain may be alive and well.

Even lefty friends who were searching the papers to prove Trump is evil are starting to say it doesn't matter, we need to attack this evil thing. The training and propaganda is being washed away. They want to get republicans, but they see the evil now. All we need is papers showing that the Covid riots were pushed by these people as a power play, and we have everyone on the same side.

Whether he meant to or not, it's working. The next step is prosecution and war. The people who run wars are the same ones eating babies, so this war will be very different.
