That's a totally useable system. It's amazing how much tech is just waiting for people to accept it

That was fascinating. There was a grocery store with a similar set up in the 1930's. It looked automatic until you saw the people running around behind the walls.

On the other hand, I wrote a paper asking if we could have something like that again, and had to stop it because every industry is working towards that idea. It went from dish cleaning to pizza delivery. I could see a mall food court turn into an automated system.

When I mentioned it to an operations guy at a big theme park he laughed and said it didn't compensate for insane guests. That's the big problem. When you have 50,000 people, 500 of them will be assholes of some kind.

Edit: the grocery store was Keedoozle.

I have met people who study cultures directly and know what they're talking about. It's why I always check how they did their study first. I've discovered that people in other fields have no idea how anthropology or history work. Computer science is right out.

I've been told the only way to find out information is to sit in a formal interview to do anthropology. We haven't done that in decades. It doesn't work, because it's so out of the norm for the interviewee that they either lie or tell jokes the interviewer won't get.

Somewhat duped is half of academia. The other half knows and either chooses to continue or wants to sell it.

Meanwhile, people in places like Beaverton demand more.

It makes me wonder how the gun shop in Milwaukee is doing.

American side isn't much better. There was a Congressional hearing in 1997 about violence in videogames. Behind closed doors it was about fake sales numbers and money laundering.

ESG isn't anything new to companies like CapCom. It was originally a gambling front, and has been working in those fields for a long time. Very few companies got out, and none fully left. It's hard to do when the entire Japanese videogame field was fronts and sponsored by Yakuza.

All that said, Capcom just had their best year ever.

I studied stuff like that while in highschool. I calculated the amount of drugs you had to be to do this.

I mean, my teacher was on drugs, so we could use her as a base.

Is it on the west coast? Then likely.

When you study native tribes in the US you get an idea. I've been in several matriarchal societies and they all have the same roles as patriarchal societies. The only difference is the emphasis. It really annoys the tribes because the US will send people to talk to tribal members and demand to meet with a man as the leader and then try to lead the women in rebellion against the patriarchy. It's happened several times over the years and always ends with laughter at the fools.

But then you get into academic studies and they act as if there never was a matriarchal society and men have always been brutishly ruling over everyone. I gave a lecture once, and the moderator showed me the comments afterwards. It was entirely people quoting from textbooks or professors but no experience with the cultures themselves.

It's weird watching this. In the NW near the Rockies there is a part of the summer called Fire Season. My parents house gets one week at downtown Beijing levels every other year. It barely makes the news in Seattle, let alone California. So when California has a small fire, the entire world prays for them. Now New York has it, and we're getting non stop news.

It's nice to know how much people care.

Most of the company is actually in Vietnam, so it's not as Japanese as people think.

Toys for Bob made one of my favorite Wii games. It made fun of woke characters and other stereotypes. This is really sad to see.

How would we know? The real journalists have webbed toes and hooks on their fingers anyway.

Rageaholic was right, they go broke, then go woke, and then die.

Who is this for? Flagstaff is a boring town in the woods. Sedona would make sense, but this seems aimed at a conservative area.

It reads like she's going through menopause and it's effected her mental stability. His best move is to get a lawyer quick, because she's going to think she's a lesbian soon.
