Yes but sadly the actual carrying out part is very incompetent. Like i have one of those systems near my house but it's for some reason not listed on their website as a particpating store. And supposedly if you have the app you can just use the app to check out one of the scanners but it also doesnt work for that nearby store.
And the thing has been there since pre covid so its not like its newly implemented
Yeah, that's something I've been learning about tech. To do something you need to understand it first then use it. Few people do that, and just demand it work.
That's a totally useable system. It's amazing how much tech is just waiting for people to accept it
