Of course you can.
FWIW, they did actually bring GalNet back after months of opprobrium.
It's frustrating and disappointing to hear the dev team decide that rather than pick any one of the multitude of ways they could make the game better, they've just decided to cash out instead.
Yep, there's a long litany of things that FDev could have done better, but this takes the cake. Frustrating as hell, especially as the group I'm involved with, a flight school, now have no idea for how long we're even going to have new pilots to help...
Yup, because old-school socialism is generally utterly repellent to the people it claims to be for (the modern intersectional variant will be once it's full impact becomes known, I suspect) about the only way die-hards can advance their agenda is to co-opt somebody else's. As such, they will always tend to favour the most authoritarian implementation of government for one simple reason:
Which is easier, to convince an entire population that this year's socialism is what's best for them or to convince one dictator to force socialism upon the populace?
Even if they totally ban any other crypto who is going to want their government crypto.
Anybody who wants to be able to pay their taxes, at a guess. It's easy enough to force some level of participation, and once you have that, the government can make it reasonably difficult to trade between, particularly if they introduce the smart money thing that's effectively a limited-use voucher owned by your employer (or the government) rather than actual currency.
If mean, if they are going all-in on the smart currency thing, the sky's the limit with how authoritarian you could be. What's that? You like some stocks? I'm sorry, you're little people, your voucher won't work for that until you get some insurance - to protect the market, of course - that just happens to only be available to Wall Street types.
Is the "Z" not simply "a letter the Ukranians won't have painted on all of their vehicles when the invasion started"?
I mean, are we supposed to assign some great cultural significance to the IFF panels Western forces used in Iraq and Afghanistan?
So MSNPC's Todd thinks holding powerful people to account - which is supposed to be his job - is calling the American people entitled because the Biden administration hasn't yet reduced their standard of living to match that of people living in Somalia?
Unlikely - hell, I'm fairly sure Biden's going to try and avoid any foreign entanglements, to the best o his (sharply limited) ability.
As the Jan 6th aftermath makes clear, the only country the DNC wants to employ the military against is the United States of America.
All the Left's rhetoric is war rhetoric anyway - they like the pressure-cooker, anything-less-than-total-agreement-is-treason aspect of it. Giz actually had a decent comment on it rom a couple of years back on the Reddit site, I'll see if I can dig it up...
I can picture some scenarios under which it doesn't go down but is instead made too expensive for anybody who's not a member of the Party to afford.
Hell, lots of countries around the world in are the process of doing that right now by shutting down nuclear and then going all-in on renewable energy that only provides around 30-40% of the rated power.
Did you make use of this yet, by the way?
I didn't see anybody that was obviously you in the welcome channel...
