Once you have the basic mechanics of (CivIV?) Col down, I highly recommend downloading the 'We The People' mod. It greatly expands the mechanics and gives you a lot more to do. (If you're playing classic Col I'm not sure there's many mods out there for it.)
AoV made the (reddit) board. At various points he made DoM (a newly created account for an existing user) mod, along with a couple other users.
When TD moved off reddit they made domains for several other subs, HalfKiA and KiA2 among them. They gave these boards to the mods of their respective reddit subs. At various points (I believe after the reddit/win split) AoV stepped down, and the other mods all went inactive.

That's not how Christianity works. Christianity isn't a race. I'll admit that there are regions of the world (primarily the middle east and Africa) where it's correlated with a specific ethnic group within a country/region, but Christ isn't passed through the bloodstream.

Old World is better than Civ VI, maybe civ V, but I don't think it has the modding community that made the classic civ games great.
I really like the RPG/narrative mechanics it borrows from CK in a Civ title, but I haven't seen people really stretch the game with mods like they did Civ.

I think this is a generational thing. Fans of the older games (Civ IV back) seem to have a more even mix of political ideologies, whereas fans of the newer games definitely seem to be the 'modern audience', as it were.
I didn't care for most of the leader choices in Civ V (or many of the civ choices) because they very clearly had a DEI bent. It really seems that VII has just completely gone off the deep end.
Having Harriet Tubman be a Great Person of some variety makes sense. Having her be the leader of a civilization is retarded.
Based on what we know already about Civ VII I have literally negative interest, which likely wouldn't have been any different if I hadn't found my ~20 hours in CIv VI extremely lacking.
IMO, the series peaked with Civ IV, Civ V (with expansions) was a competent sequel that just went in a direction I didn't always like, and Civ VI isn't worth playing over either of those (or Civ III, BE, or even II.)
I'm one of the people that browses by 'New', so I doubt it.

A boycott won't do a lot for my health or their bottom line. I don't drink a lot of whisky (averaged out over a year, I probably have about an ounce or two a week).
