Well, if you think about it "concentration camp" Is a pretty odd way to describe the place you starve and work to death people when you weren't killing them outright. It's just about concentrating people in one place, right?

The past 4 years have been an extremely interesting real time look into psychology and how easily minds can be shaped by astroturfing campaigns, propaganda, and social engineering.
These people are proposing war time measures, and are using actual wars to justify it, without even pretending to have any awareness of why that is a problem.
“Trumpism” is not fascist in any way, but people are either convinced that it is, or one of those doing the convincing. In order to stop the “rise of fascism” they advocate for a system that authoritarians would love to have their hands on, and at least some of those advocates wish to be those authorities.
During their respective debates, both Biden and Harris claimed that the reason Biden is running is because after Charlottesville Trump refused to disavow white supremacy, and he just knew he needed to put a stop to his reign of terror.
Their entire justification for their ticket is a lie. The democratic ticket is basically the least qualified and candidate from the primaries, and the least liked.
Right now Biden is implicated in 2 separate scandals that, in a sane world, would be a bigger deal than watergate. The media and big tech are covering them both up.
Yet I need the literal ministry of truth from 1984 to protect me from Trump?
I think for a lot of them it's because they want it to be true. They want it to be true so badly they'll take even the flimsiest excuse to embrace that validation.
I saw someone else, seriously, suggesting that because there was de-Nazification in Germany after WW2, that the US should do that right now because the right is so evil, blah blah, and the US failed to do the same thing after the Civil War.
Gotta wonder at what point the schools will start teaching US history and basic civics again.
