Obviously the most pressing issue California faces. It's not like they are hemorrhaging money, facing a homelessness issue, fighting mass drug abuse, and literally on fire.

The utopia must go forward. If people don't like it and they leave, that's even better since only true believers are left. Self-correcting issue as far as California is concerned.

Yeah and the water shortages, that they like to blame completely on “climate change” whenever part of the problem stems from the state’s management of the water supply

California's water problems are entirely artificial. There is this endangered fish called the Delta Smelt. Biologists who get off on saving fish have admitted that literally nothing can be done to save it. The new flora and fauna in the area have permenantly altered the enviornment. So to save this fish, California turns off the water pumps after they suck up 305 of the little fuckers. Half of the usuable water washes into the ocean because of a watermelon judge.

A lot of the coastal cities have storm drain systems that drain rainwater directly into the ocean instead of trying to capture and process it to make it safe for irrigation if not drinking. Which is a much easier problem than trying to desalinate ocean water.

It wouldn't be the solution to CA's water problem, but it's a lot of water that's currently going to waste. But I suspect there's less potential for grift doing that than there is in building desalination plants.

He’s trying to do as much damage as he can before he gets forced out. Since even he knows that after the shit show that’s been his term, he won’t get re-elected. Not even his aunt Pelosi pulling the strings, can unfuck his public image here in CA. Uber and Lyft possibly leaving CA is really what turned the majority against him.

The thing is though if you look at how Leftists operate this isn't unusual. They frequently turn on each other and will often throw each other under the bus if they fail to meet the ever changing standard of what is acceptable for their "movement".

This isn't a new phenomenon, just look at the French revolution for instance. A good number of the original leaders and key members eventually got executed by other revolutionists.

Same story with the Soviet Union, they purged members from their own ranks for assumed slights or infractions.

Hell even now, if you're not "Woke" enough the mob turns on you just as quickly as it would turn on someone they would consider an ideological enemy. Just look at JK Rowling, she was their love child until she put her foot down on the women being women. Now she's public enemy #1 in their eyes.

The point being, just because a Leftist might agree with you on some things doesn't mean as a whole they agree with you. Ultimately you're still their enemy. There will never be an agree to disagree with them. You might tolerate them, but they will never tolerate you.

This literally allows rapists to be locked in a prison with women.

They tried this in the UK a few years back, it was a complete disaster & they reversed it (last I heard anyhow). Of course Liberals never learn from history so...

The ideology comes above all comrade. If some women must suffer so we can save women, then it's a low price to pay.

The 'Women's Movement' will get the shaft yet again, just like always.
Emancipation movement? Women got no credit (or the right to vote).
Voting rights? Well that worked out Ok.
Prohibition? Caused 10x as many women to go to bars as before, even while it was on!
The ERA era? A complete disaster.
Anti-nuclear / anti-war movements? Both fizzled as the useless showboating they were became obvious.

Now we have SJW, Climate Catastrophe and LGBT rights on the table... women will get the shaft in all of those as well. They're once again being used as cannon fodder or human shields (literally!) and will lose ground across the board because of this. Good!

I remember they were considering making it so that men with no pp could stay there, but they still managed to rape because their minds hadn't changed too much.

The UK didn't do it right. They should have made all the prisoners women.

Forests burn, they have blackouts, high taxes and people are leaving the state but at least now you can put males in to female prisons. Progressive utopia.

The ones at TDW mostly are there to try to show Trump supporters they are dumb and will post the same talking points as Reddit.

There aren't standardized talking points for a place like this one except maybe for all the Trump posts. Things not related to Trump don't have curated communities and people like maxwellhill to make talking points.

That's surprising. It does say:

Among heterosexual males, an estimated 3.5% reported being sexually victimized by another inmate In comparison, among males who were bisexual, 34% reported being sexually victimized by another inmate Among males who were homosexual or gay, 39% reported being victimized by another inmate

For women it's 13 / 18 / 13 straight/bisexual/gay abuse instead of 3.5 / 34 / 39 for men. So I find it extremely suspicious men are so much lower than women overall, and that straight men are ten times lower than bisexual or gay men when straight women aren't much lower than bisexual women and the same as gay women.

And considering this:

Following their release from prison, 72% of victims of inmate-on-inmate sexual victimization indicated they felt shame or humiliation, and 56% said they felt guilt

I strongly suspect the rate of reporting for straight men is significantly falsely low, because they don't want to admit they were raped in general, especially by a man. Men who already consider themselves bi or gay are less reluctant to admit they had sex with a man, obviously, and therefore the numbers are much higher there. Table 17 confirms that about 60% of them never reported it to any officials, then you check table 18, listing "reasons for not reporting sexual victimization", and see 70% saying they didn't want anyone to know. Wouldn't such a high percentage saying they didn't report it to anyone because they didn't want anyone to know suggest that... a lot of them would take it that logical one step further and also not report it on the surveys this report is based on, therefore not showing up in either table?

I don't have the resources of the entire state of California but I got a feeling the ratio of transgender inmates going to male prisons will be considerably lower than inmates going to female prisons. I don't know why, call it an uneducated hunch.

Is there a way to kick California out of the union? Because this type of insanity should not be supported.

I've sensed a disturbance in the force, as if millions of inmates got raped and were suddenly silenced.
