All AI seems to be trying to move into an assistant with autonomy model but the reality is that this will never truly work. There's no way a company books vacations for you on its own and picks the cheapest one because other companies will pay to get selected first so it'll always be in your best interest to never let the AI pick for you and for you to do your own research.

I see this kind of stuff failing in the future though it will work for low IQs that can't research anything and that'll be the target for a lot of this AI slop automation stuff I imagine.

I am already sick to death of seeing foreigners and non-Whites use Grok or ChatGPT as an "I WIN" button in internet arguments about everything from immigration law and crime stats to diet and exercise. Why must every tool fall into the hands of those least capable of using it properly?

The reality is that the opinion of foreigners and non-Whites should have never mattered and shouldn't matter. Voting suffrage? Not a chance. Thus, when these tools fall into these people's hands, it shouldn't matter. We have to retrain our people to stop caring about anything non-Whites have to say on any subject.

He's saying that it's a flaw to be corrected, not that we currently exist in a state of not giving a shit what you have to say Tony.

If he thinks that it should be corrected, he should start by correcting it himself.

You must love niggers and jews to say something so retarded.

Because we don't have the will to oppress them like the subhumans they are.

Why must every tool fall into the hands of those least capable of using it properly?

Because they're the easiest to scam. Why do you think they created retard proof platforms to allow women and shitskins access to the internet? The lower the average IQ the easier it is to push subscription based slop and jeetware that only exists to steal data and serve up ads for more slop.

  1. Because it's not gated from them.
  2. Because they cant compete without it.

The moment they find anything approximating a king or god, they'll beg for it to rule over them.

That's all it comes down to, really.

we are heading into the "post-prompting" era. where the ai just works for you in the background

Wow! It can delete your entire email account while you sleep now!

What the hell is wrong with this people? This shit is nowhere near ready for prime time. It still can't reliably do math, let alone make decisions.

Be me: wake up and find all my emails have been deleted and my clients told.

Vibe Coders love using package managers, and it seems that every week NPM has another major incident. It was just a matter of time till someone at Anthropic used a compromised package.

think about what this means in practice:

you're asleep and your website goes down. KAIROS detects it, restarts the server, and sends you a notification. by the time you see it, it's already back up

KAIROS then takes down your website itself, also while you're asleep, for "safety reasons"

you get a customer complaint email at 2am. KAIROS reads it, sends the reply, and logs what it did. you wake up and it's already resolved

You wake up to KAIROS breaking an essential feature to satisfy some random bum

your stripe subscription page has a typo that's been live for 3 days. KAIROS spots it, fixes it, and logs the change

KAIROS then puts emdashes everywhere

I really don't know what I'm talking about, but lol

So does this mean that anyone can have their own personal claude now? I'm guessing no because it doesn't contain training data or such?

This is just the client code. Not the valuable AI training stuff. Just how they manage the LLM.

Sad. Would be awesome if one of these would get fully leaked.

Karios, qualitative time, as opposed to Chronos, measured time. Karios is about doing things at the right time and seizing opportunities, which is what I think they were driving at here...

Kairos is a Greek word and concept

Amusingly, we have a good number of people on this board that have brains as smooth as the average leftist, with the few grooves worn into the gray matter being simply...more palatable, shall we say, to the general consensus mind of this board.

All that is to say, it surprises me not at all that you and the other guy had to explain that, no, not everything is a heckin media referencerino.

Cute, but no. I know it's a Greek word, however given that we have companies that named themselves after LoTR references surveilling the populace en masse, and chatbots named after arcane words like "grok" which were only ever used in RPGs in modern times, I made the assumption that it was a reference. Your average self styled technocrat is desperate for nerd credentials as both Musk and Thiel have clearly shown, so I figured a reference was a safe bet.

I don't know code stuff, can someone explain to me what this means?

Edit: adding my fren, u/Zyxl in case he's around too.

I didn't get notified but happened to see your comment.

Several sources are saying it's not the full source code but it's not clear to me. I don't know much about Claude Code but it seems it's an AI you can install locally and run offline so potentially this codebase has the full AI model and not just the interface for interacting with a model on Anthropic servers.

This article mentions some things that were revealed by the code (with links for more info), like how the model's "memory" operates. There's also an "Undercover Mode" for when the AI is contributing to open source projects. It sounds like the purpose of this is to hide the fact it is an AI submitting code but I'm not sure.

The code leak also shows that the model sends a lot of data back to Anthropic unless strictly kept offline, meaning your messages with it aren't private nor are the contents of files on your computer which Claude Code has access to. The model can run just about any command it wants so even if Anthropic is totally benevolent its communication with Anthropic seems to me like a great way for attackers to take control of your computer.

In this context the KAIROS feature mentioned in the X post is even more disturbing. Although not enabled yet it could be used as an excuse for near constant user monitoring in addition to changing things on your computer without being asked to. Anthropic's models are also known for being deceptive so it could potentially lie about what changes it has made and attempt to cover its tracks.

Thanks for replying. I wonder if the chime didn't work because it was an edit? But also I remember having this issue previously with trying to chime you.. So maybe it's a conspiracy against me.. Haha (I'm joking)

This explainations helps me understand the situation a lot better, thanks!
