Amusingly, we have a good number of people on this board that have brains as smooth as the average leftist, with the few grooves worn into the gray matter being simply...more palatable, shall we say, to the general consensus mind of this board.
All that is to say, it surprises me not at all that you and the other guy had to explain that, no, not everything is a heckin media referencerino.
Cute, but no. I know it's a Greek word, however given that we have companies that named themselves after LoTR references surveilling the populace en masse, and chatbots named after arcane words like "grok" which were only ever used in RPGs in modern times, I made the assumption that it was a reference. Your average self styled technocrat is desperate for nerd credentials as both Musk and Thiel have clearly shown, so I figured a reference was a safe bet.
