I haven't seen the show in the linked thread but given Billy Bob Thornton's performance in Bad Santa 1 and 2 there's a stronger argument for giving that show a shot than most. The TV I do watch is 20+ years old, mainly Nickelodeon shows from my childhood.

I’m not a big fan of TV either. Not many interesting shows to me, I’d rather spend my free time playing games, reading, touching grass or doing a physical hobby.

Watching TV and playing video games is mostly the same thing. Both accomplish nothing and exist as entertainment for people. Video games have just as much goyslop in them these days as TV does. Sometimes people like to switch up their entertainment and don't want to play video games. I find video games boring. I play for 5 minutes and I'm bored. TV is something you can do while you're browsing the internet shitposting on here or cooking your dinner or texting friends. Games need you to focus more attention which isn't something everyone wants to do all the time.

I don't even play games a ton anymore. I go through spells of games and spells of old movies. Rest of my free time I'm either just maintaining house/property, or building something whether physical construction, software, 3D printing, etc. I really enjoy making things even if half of it is never any use it seems.
I remember being so disgusted when Conan lost the Tonight Show I stopped watching TV. Pretty soon I realized I wasn't missing anything important, wasn't getting brainwashed by ads anymore, and had more free time.
