As what? A hat stand. His arms are about half the width of his body. While this could mean a super stronk Chad, this is not the case here. The guy is fucking tiny.
Is that a man or a woman?
Same question.
This one seems out of place compared with the rest.
See point 2.
So he's fine with sending Nigerians to Israel, right?
“In Halifax, international teachers are now the majority of educators in the district—109 out of 156 teachers across 11 schools. A total of 75 have H-1B status, while the rest are here on J-1 visas,” the site Border Belt Independent reported.
But even if the need for more teachers was sharp, American schools have also opted to hire thousands more administrations instead of increasing the pay of teachers.
“From my great-grandfather: not to have attended schools for the public; to have had good teachers at home, and to realize that this is the sort of thing on which one should spend lavishly.”

Trusting the education of our youth to foreigners is a catastrophically stupid idea and everyone involved in facilitating it should be publicly flogged.
This has been happening at the college level for year's. Go on med school forums. Many students can't understand their teachers these days. I don't want a doctor that couldn't understand their fucking professor. But, don't worry the school has a plan. They just sell the med students software for thousands of dollars more than their overpriced school when they complain they can't understand the teacher.
It's not just med school. I had this issue with a Computer Science professor for my operating systems class. Some Chinese man who did a bunch of research for the university but he had an impenetrable accent and couldn't teach for shit. He just put slides up on the projector and more or less read them off. He also failed to actually check any of the assignments we submitted and graded purely on whether or not a file was submitted. I know because towards the end of the year I submitted a text document that read something to the effect of "Let me know if you read this and I'll supply you with the actual assignment." Never heard back from him and got full marks. It was only years later that I heard from a friend that that actually got him in trouble with the department, but I'm pretty sure he had tenure and did not get canned.
Omg, the school I went to pulled that shit too! It was a math class. The school went to their IT department, and told the woman she either taught the class or got fired. When did this become SOP?!
Luckily it was a very kind, and smart woman. Understanding her wasn't the issue. She just wasn't a teacher, and ain't have any patience for the idiot teeny boppers. I felt so bad for that woman. She fucking hated Bb just as much as we did. But, the teeny boppers lost their minds about taking paper tests, or paper homework assignments.
CompSci 2000-2006 (I got mono one fall and missed some prereqs only offered in fall for classes only offered in spring). At least 2 teachers no one could understand what they said. Turns out one was on tenure track and - having a grad school TA gf and her best friend, our row house mate, was also a double grad - we had a lot of inside rumor mill knowledge with the professors who we would socialize, even sailing on the catamaran of one and going to parties at their places, and my gf worked with the daughter of the owner of the local radio station so we had those connections, too, so we came to know that it seemed he was having an affair with the new department head. The previous department head was perhaps my favorite teacher and he was so disillusioned with the department that he transfered to the mathematics department to teach mathematical computing. Of course I took his classes as my elective.
Anyway, this has been happeneing in compsci for at least 25 years.
Oh, and my school no longer exists: it was absorbed into a group of 6 other colleges in the area so all of the campuses for all 6 are now part of the same system.
This is 100% happening and even for AP and high level classes. There is a pipeline of teachers from a handful of countries--Filipinos and Jamaicans, for instance--into US public schools.
It's not all bad. I would by far prefer American born and educated teachers who are not nuts. THey are becoming a rarity. In highschool my best teacher was a US and World history teacher who had a PhD in history and, importantly, NO EDUCATION DEGREE. Smart individuals who are well-trained in their topics are the best teachers, imho.
The worst are those with education degrees, or even multiple education degrees, and nothing else. That can work for young childhood education (elementary school) but not much beyond that.
My oldest kid has had 3foreign highschool teachers. There was a Jamaican history teacher (bad), a Filipino Biology teacher (good!), and another Filipino math teacher (TBD).
The good thing is that they don't necessarily come with the same ideological baggage that education degreed Americans do, and they work hard in the classroom to get good results in order to maintain their job and immigration status.
Not really. AI hallucinates too much to be trusted to impart proper instruction in new knowledge. At best you'll have smart kids using AI to supplement the subpar instruction they get in a classroom, but they'll still need to sort out truth from tripping and the normal and dumb kids aren't going to be able to do that on their own.
You say that like most of the human teachers aren't completely detached from reality. AI can't replace a good teacher, but it can improve on the garbage we have now.
Perfection is the enemy of good as they say, it truly could be a good stopgap for the time it takes to purge the useless chaff and build up a proper cadre of educators.
That's why you use it as a supplement rather than an outright replacement. You still want to pursue the acquisition of good teachers but wholesale replacing them with AI is just as silly.
Bet nearly every one of these teachers probably uses AI to make the powerpoints they show students, assuming they don't just use what the department head gave them like a full time substitute teacher.
Raise the bar for what we require of our educators, but in order to do that we need to restore both social status and the financial incentive to get good educators. It needs to not be a dead-end career that attracts dead-end individuals.
I remember back in high school I had the best physics teacher, who I want to say came to us from NASA or was otherwise a practicing physicist prior to ending up in the classroom. She knew her shit and was really good at teaching and keeping everyone engaged. Turns out a few years later she left the classroom to become an administrator because being a teacher just didn't pay well enough. That's an issue that needs to be tackled. You're gonna get a lot of knee-jerk responses about how we can't just dump more of the public coffers into a lefty captured public education system, but if you want better teachers you need to find a way to financially incentivize it. There's no getting around it, so people had best start brainstorming instead of digging their heels in.
Only problem is we need a way for it to be merit based pay so best teachers, best pay but how do you measure success in teaching?
You can say tests but you can easily teach to pass a test and still end up eith students with zero common sense. Need a good way to ensure good teachers have the pay they need, bad teachers not fit for it get zoned out.
Not by test outcomes, that's for sure. There's only so much a teacher can do when handed a classroom full of yard apes. My old man was high school biology teacher for over 30 years and his on the ground experience was that merit based pay didn't really work, so take that for what it's worth.
A lot of the hurdles classroom teachers have come from higher up the bureaucracy fucking with them. Stuff like adding more students into a class than is allowed or fucking with schedules and lesson prep materials without notice. It's not just the teachers that need to get sorted, it's the whole bloody system from top to bottom that is dysfunctional.
Well now we can just deport the entire classroom at once. They can even keep doing the lessons on the way back to whateverstan they came from.
always could have
always should have.
What if we deport all the whites for no reason, and replace the entire class with spics and jeets who are better than whites because they aren't white?! If you disagree you are racist and we need to debank you for your antisemitism.
As what? A hat stand. His arms are about half the width of his body. While this could mean a super stronk Chad, this is not the case here. The guy is fucking tiny.

See point 2.
So he's fine with sending Nigerians to Israel, right?
Again, see point 2.
Now kill yourself, jeet.
That's really really antisemetic and racist of you. You need to respect all cultures!
but which teachers hate the West more?
Probably not the ones trying to move here.

Baby steps. Start out with flogging and re-evaluate after the dust settles.

I understand completely why yours gave no fucks.

My daughter had a math sub who pronounced it "inte-neggars". Her friends had a field day.
I hear boomers complain about this from their college professors when they were youths
I read entire threads in doctors forums. I don't want a doctor that can't understand their teacher.
The majority of teachers supported the invasion and actively propagandized for it for years.
Of course those are probably the same people pushing for this, as they are retiring now.

Damn, so what's a better alternative for the dumb ones then? Religious schools again?

Immigrants that can have sexual emergencies?
Yeah because American teachers can't speak their shitworld regional tribal dialect of their clickpop so-called language.
That's funny.. cuz in the Caribbean they're looking to replace their teachers with AI.
