Literally you can hear the panic in the cop's scream "WhoaWHOA!!" as the car guns it. 100% he figured he was gonna get dragged again. Frankly, I doubt he had time to aim with how fast it was.
Unfortunately, once again, you need to always stay away from the front of cars because you never know what these animals are going to do.
If I'm choosing, I'd rather live in a society where "criminals in cars are shot when they threaten to kill cops by illegally fleeing the scene" as opposed to "cops must avoid obstructing the cars of criminals because they need clear lanes for when they try to escape."
Even if we were to live in a repressive police state, I'd rather have a repressive state that gives me clear lines of what not to do, rather than a narco-state that privileges a protected criminal class to break the law with impunity as long as they do it.

The thing is he wasn't even in front. He was on the side talking to the other dyke until she backed up and lined her car up with him.
Yeah, he was basically talking to the drive's side of the car when the other cop approached but wasn't there yet, then she reversed hard and pointed the car in his direction, and he was in front of the car.
The only danger was maybe to his toes. And he should have been wearing steel toes anyway. Babies and old people might be in danger of a accelerating minivan tho!

Did we watch the same video? He was on the side talking to the other one, then she reversed her car and turned. You can see how much she turns from other videos. She was also looking straight at him when she floors it. Even if he was in front of her car for arguments sake, it wouldn't have made a difference.
You can literally see it in the first second or so of this video. He's on the other side out of view, then as she turns, he's now in front of her vehicle.

If you look, you can clearly see him aiming(not covering) his camera. I actually originally wondered why his arm was bent like that but after watching the pov cam, now it makes sense.
Now listen, the human memory is funny, we can watch videos like this and remember things that never even happened, happens in real life too.
