The new leftist talking point was its now the ice officers fault for being in front of the car because some police SOPs say to avoid “crush zones” as if that somehow makes him at fault because the SOP was created because of deliberate vehicular manslaughter attempts.
Yes, and it's ridiculous. He wasn't anticipating the idiot white woman protestor to try and kill him (a nearly fatal mistake), and so he walked past the hood of the car in order to assist in her apprehension. Extreme caution is warranted because leftists are so dangerously insane. The SOP is to protect cops from them.
