Free white persons of good character, just like the Founding Fathers intended.

Free also means “having no debt.” No foreigners coming here with overseas debt that they work off here and send our specie overseas to pay.

Makes slaving away at that normal job feel real good knowing these state-backed thieves are the sole reason the country is going to shit and making your life unlivable.

They talk about a billion dollars like it's no big deal but the only way for a regular person to make a billion dollars is either to invent a service that's so good it becomes completely ubiquitous like Windows, Amazon, or Paypal, or to write the most popular book series ever like JK Rowling.

No, you don't earn a billion dollars. Those corps are allowed to get to that scale because it benefits the government. Microsoft, Amazon, and Paypal offer services to the US government that the government isn't allowed to do itself.

But when I say to just stop paying taxes, I get “ratioed” by thumbsy-downies. I guess everyone agrees that worshipping jews is the only way to behave. We can’t do anything else!

It's a good idea, but only works if basically everyone does it together. Which is another reason the "rugged individualism" psyop is pushed. The nail that sticks up gets hammered, so most people just keep their heads down and do what they're told.

Because 'just stop paying taxes' is one of those things that sounds good and, while I agree that it should be a option for people to opt-out of at federal taxes at minimum, it is impossible to do for pretty much everyone and would likely destroy their lives if they even tried it.

Would I like to not pay taxes? Of course. But the steps you would need to take to 'just stop paying taxes' is beyond absurd for all but a handful of people that are willing to go to the extremes needed to do something that is way more complex to actually pull off than it sounds.

Just… stop doing it. It takes more effort to do it than not doing it. Just don’t do it. Like… what?

"If we just improved the system, taxes would be bearable!"

Conservatives cannot develop their own framing to save their souls. Here's an argument that needs zero statistical support: taxation is evil.

I've said before that there will only be significant progress when people either stop paying taxes or are willing to put up legitimate resistance to being stolen from by the government constantly.

Adding to this, people can stop paying taxes in one of two ways. Illegally, and face criminal risk. Not scalable. Or legally, by going on welfare and bleeding the system dry, like non-whites do. Very scalable.

If tomorrow, whites said fuck it and start mass spamming welfare, and pumping out unlimited kids, the government would be forced to change. As long as whites consent to being slaves for non-whites, the system won't actually change.

Yeah it's probably best to start with by using every means available to abuse the system without immediately becoming an enemy of the system.

They would try to bend the rules and shortchange things of course, but after you can prove that you live in a two-tiered society with results then more developments can be made.

Then the "unsavory" practices become a lot more reasonable when you do them under the table to avoid the system you know is trying to cheat you.

They're already fucking themselves there. The driving down of wages with fake AI and the fake gig economy are eating away at tax bases. We don't have staffing issues we have retention issues.

Literally burning the candle at both ends to keep boomer retirement accounts always going up.

The ponzi scheme cannot last much longer.

How do we prove to people that $1.5t is going to fraud?

2020 budget was $3T.

2025 budget is $6T.

Is anything twice as good now?

It's so much more than $1.5T.

You can't prove it to a certain segment of people, it's like trying to talk about what trannies are really like where it's so totally degenerate and insane that normal people just shut it out and don't believe you.

Okay, so prove it to me.

From my perspective, I think social programs are a waste of money but I don't think they're all fraud.

You have the logic backwards.

Prove they work.

Show the results. For every dollar you TAKE from me, what, exactly are we getting back? Where possible please show me audits and the work of motivated regulators.

Finally prove competition and the private sector cannot or would not solve any of these problems given the chance.

This should be easy. The government should already be doing all of this work. The necessary reports and data should be all online. The legislative debate that led to these programs should also be easy to find and understand for context.

Sorry for the extremity of rhetoric but this should be table stakes for how our government works and it clearly isn't. So.. guess what you end up with.. fraud.

When the government takes $1t from you and spends $2t on healthcare, not much of that is fraud, though there will be some, but you specifically aren't getting equal value to what you pay in taxes. That's the whole point of ALL social programs. Someone is paying more than what someone else is receiving.

The private sector would be better. All social programs should be abolished. Taxes should be as low as possible. But that doesn't mean the spending is fraud.

not much of that is fraud

Qualify that with data. What do I get from "healthcare" provided to others? Seriously. What incentive is there for them to not overuse the system? Seriously.

Fraud exists on every level of the system. You sort have have to multiply through your expectations. Which are, sick people get the help they need, not diabetics and immigrants abusing the ER, doctors abusing the state, and the state abusing the taxpayer.

But that doesn't mean the spending is fraud.

Of course not. There are secondary indicators, which everyone is reasonably interpreting as meaning there is overwhelming fraud. If you see your coworker stealing do you report it or do you join in? What do you think a room of random people would do? Multiply this by the size of the federal workforce which is 3 million people, and of course, growing.

Think of what insurance companies know and do about fraud. They still eat $300b a year in loses just in the US on fraud.

I mean, it's possible you're not incorrect, but you'd have to be ignorant of reality to think that's the pole to dance around right now.

I don't have to prove it to you. You already know it. I have no idea how I would prove it to somebody who could be shown the daycares or USAID or a dozen other stories and still argue with the idea that there is massive, systemic fraud everywhere in the US.

I just have a problem with suggesting there's $1.5t in fraud and all we have to do is get rid of the fraud then we can abolish taxes. This is mathematically incorrect and fairly naive.

There is fraud but it's not $1.5t worth. To abolish taxes, we'd need to get rid of government spending that wasn't fraud.

I'm missing something. How does this chart align with the fact that over 40% of federal income tax revenue is from the top 1% of earners (AGI > about 550k)?
