Try to take seats behind them when possible so you can watch their actions. If no seats are available, except for one directly in front, then catch the bus/tram. "But I'll be late!", they'll retort. Better late than dead.
Never let joggers group up behind you (for obvious reasons).
Never walk with a crowd of joggers.
If a group of them enter into the same facility where you're shopping about, get what you need and exit immediately.
Never pass by a loitering jogger directly, if possible, cross the street.
Never stop and engage with them for any reason.
Carry what's permissible to defend yourself (I'll leave it at that).
These might seem like obvious self-preservation techniques, but women being women... they will likely argue with you about it even if they claim to be Conservative. Just tell them to follow those rules anyway. Because again, better safe and late than dead and buried.
