But the fact that we know that Western Ukraine 3 years later is apparently business as usual with politician & celebrity photo-ops & concerts, young women out at night clubs, etc, may mean that she was opportunistic in fleeing to Charlotte, while her young brothers "fight" for her & die by the thousands.
