Do leftists just think all it will take for them to gain the pre Gamergate level of control over the Right is for Trump to die? You can't put this genie back into the bottle without killing the genie.
Yes, they do believe that. Because they believe it was only because of him that people got "brave" enough to be "openly bigoted" to fight back against them. Because like in many other cases, they reverse cause and effect and dont realize that Trump was the effect, not the cause. So they think that if they get rid of Trump they are getting rid of cause, and not that people will just find a new Trump. Or worse, will find someone more extreme than Trump (because they also refuse to admit Trump is actually fairly moderate and in line with most Americans, they just think he is too crass).
Yeah. I think some people on this sub just think he's Bush Jr. 2.0, but even if this sub stops supporting him the left might think that he's basically the closest thing we have to electing a fascist. But at the same time, I could see that those on the left who believe that he's responsible for all of the growing backlash to their cause might also think that once he leaves office, everything will go back to normal as long as the democrats win the presidency.
Not to mention that Gamergate as a whole might be used as a scapegoat for those who don't see him as the source of all this.

Unironically yes, that seems to be the case. They've created this Voldemort/Sauron idea of him in their mind that once he dies everyone will just give up and kill themselves in despair, or simply never be able to rise up again to resist them.
You have to remember they think "beliefs" are something given to people, instead of being something you create for yourself, because that's how they work. So if you remove Trump, the one "creating" these evil thoughts, then people will stop thinking them.
Modern media has done a poor job of showing that simply killing the enemies leader without a magical (or in the case of Yugoslavia, almost magical) reason for holding their organization together doesn’t simply eliminate the enemy. Which is funny, considering we spent 20 years in the sandbox proving that exact point.
Ironically, they love to show the "cycle of revenge" story (and then demand you be the bigger man and end it after they take from you), which is just as likely to happen if they do anything to Trump as the "his base continues his legacy even without him" option.
They honestly see themselves as the scrappy underdogs in any situation. They're the rebel alliance. They're Dumbledore's army. They're marginalized and striking from the shadows. They're siding with whoever is losing a war, thinking that somehow it makes that side morally superior.
They're fucking stupid.
But I have to hand it to whoever thought it up and uploaded this programming, because they've successfully turned the useful idiots into willing kamikaze martyrs for whatever cause of the moment. They'll run into a simple argument, get stomped, and come out of it thinking they took on Goliath and survived because they're main character or whatever when in reality they have the entire establishment watching their back.
It's time for common sense controls to be put on leftists.
They need to have a permit to be Democrats and go through a long background check.
Searching their electronics would also be necessary, although there won't be nearly enough space in the chomo wings of the prisons.

Bottom Left is very funny, because at the moment Vance commands infinite more mutual respect from the base than Trump himself daily. Literally the only major complaint people have against him is his Jeet wife, and while completely valid to hate that right now its not even enough to stop his continuing meteoric rise.
And the horror show Lefties will give us when Trump dies showing how barbaric and evil they all are (displayed briefly this weekend) will be more than enough to bring the Right together against them instead of immediately fracturing for scraps.
Hell, now that I think about it, if Trump really did die and JD Vance is our new president, I think there's a chance he might be even harsher on the left than Trump was, maybe even being as effective as Desantis was during the early Biden era if things go right. Maybe it's just me but would you say the same?
He absolutely would be. Just witnessing their behavior at and around Trump's death would radicalize him into a monster of their own making.
Vance is young, he was born into a lot of this and understands it on a level that Trump never could. He'd be throwing RINOs out of windows for getting in his way, and actively destroying Leftist cultural rot, instead of Trump's more business and corporate type dealings.
Meanwhile half the leftists died to heart attacks and blood clots in the last 4 years, but don't question it.
And many are unable to have kids from the jab, the new gender, or obesity.
I've seen several of these. One had a line about "the things you hate live longer" so I replied 'as much hate as he gets on reddit I'd guess he's immortal by now. My highest down voted comment to date.

Well, sure, there are entire cities in India propped up by phone scams. I literally just told one to kill himself last week. My issue is that it's not just one thing, but full spectrum problem.
