You ever come across the situation where, there might be something that leftists don't actually hate, but if right wingers happen to like it then the leftists want it gone, just because they don't like that right wingers like something even if they themselves dont actually hate it??

I've increasingly come across spiteful leftists like this. If you like something, then they want it gone even if they don't even hate the thing you like.
I've just found them to be shallow people. Most of my life my social and work groups were all or at least mostly leftists and I've found them to be untrustworthy, unreliable, egotistical and unintelligent people. Their relationships are based on what they can get out of them and how it helps their lives. They absolutely will not help or put themselves out for anyone and use childish shaming tactics and social bullying to get their way.
They are just shitty people overall and the more they are vocal about it the shittier they are.
Because they're weak and cowardly, they have to be on the "popular" side.
Even though they get off on being the "oppressed minority."
It makes no sense but they don't care.
Not only are leftists shallow and stupid? They can also switch their beliefs "on a dime" if needed.
Remember: they were anti-Vaxx & anti-Big Pharm for so long... until suddenly they were 100% pro-vaxx, 100% pro Big Pharma and demanded everyone trust the government without question.
And then suddenly they pretended that never happened. 🤨
"we have always been at war with Oceania" is a core mentality of the left. Or some have even come around to admitting the jab was unsafe (after getting myocarditis or something) and then act like they weren't one of the orwellian assholes pushing to force it on others. I wonder how many of them had to go and scrub their social media history just to make living in their illusions easier.
It's a sign of being a malcontent. For whatever reason they feel cheated from life and therefore others must share their misery. One of the funny things about this worldview is that it is typically a self inflicted wound. There is no real reason that they have to feel the way they do, they just bought into a bad thinking paradigm and don't realize to just let go and find ways to be happy.
I think there needs to be a good simple book for people that explains life's common dangers to people so that they can avoid them. When I was a lad my mother gave me Esquire's What Every Young Man Should Know. I don't even remember all the details in that book at this point in my life but I do know that it was very illuminating and helpful to having a good life.
