You ever come across the situation where, there might be something that leftists don't actually hate, but if right wingers happen to like it then the leftists want it gone, just because they don't like that right wingers like something even if they themselves dont actually hate it??
I've also seen leftists really hate it when right wingers like something that they themselves also like. Like Frieren for example.
I've increasingly come across spiteful leftists like this. If you like something, then they want it gone even if they don't even hate the thing you like.
This is not a phenomenon unique to leftists, it's basic tribalism. On this very board I recall some people being upset that trannies were using evangelion avatars and liking anime in general.
Gatekeeping something you care about in order to protect it isn't the same thing as destroying something you don't care about in order to withhold it from your enemies.

Yeah but they hate that we enjoy it. We hate (know) that the left will try to mutilate the thing we both like.
I present to you, Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, the United States of America, California, food, cars, marriage, children, sex (the verb), sex (gender), sports.
That's a defensive reaction, though. RWers are pretty respectful of a foreign property's artistic independence, but trannies are not.
