Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z, especially the White Men, got the short end of the stick. They were told that a degree is the only thing that guarantees success. The stigma is so powerful, and the grade schools do nothing to guide kids to find their passion or explore careers in meaningful ways. Years of children’s lives are wasted learning generalities without sufficient direction. Critical thinking is not encouraged while simultaneously children and teens are punished for wanting to have fun after being stuck in a desk for 8+ hours a day. This is a failure that won’t be solved in a bureaucratized society like the one we have now.
They did what they were told was best, and tried to do what they could with what little information they had to work with. Not all of them are able to succeed in STEM majors (even though now the value of STEM is questionable in terms of employment), and that is ok.
Not all people are meant to be hustlers, nor should they be expected to be hustlers. It is not natural for humans to compete on a global scale, and this “hyper-competitiveness” shouldn’t be seen as acceptable. It’s important to emphasize the values of hard work in younger generations but also to show compassion in a system that is so clearly against them. Merely telling them to pull themselves up by their bootstraps only reinforces the notion that the globohomo systems we see now, where everyone EXCEPT whites have significant in-group preference, is normal and should remain in place.
We shouldn't want people to focus on making money anyway. That's how society got where it is today, because money became the ultimate desirable and competition for it has eroded morality. You're right that global competition is part of the cause. People work better in local communities where people actually know each other, reputation and moral character are important, and there's also less competition and more co-operation.
A single set of laws can't possibly align with the views of a diverse population either, so people need to have voluntary association with like-minded individuals and form governments around their shared principles.
Some behaviours should be shamed
If you want to help white people, you don't do them any favours by not shaming them for spending thousands on a useless communist indoctrination. Of all the things we need to end, this is right up there. Give it a social cost and it stops.
You're right that it also shouldn't be all about the hustle and all getting an medicine or engineering degree, but that doesn't mean that damaging behaviours shouldn't be shamed. There should be a lot more shaming, it needs to be brought back for a lot of things.
Yeah, it's fine to not be cut out for STEM. Spending thousands to be indoctrinated into gay communism isn't though.
It's a trillion dollar manipulation machine. You should blame the people who did that spending. It was your tax dollars anyways.
It's a pipeline that starts when kids are 6 and continues until they are 24. They didn't stand a fucking chance. If you want to save them you have to forgive them this first. Otherwise the cognitive dissonance will keep them attached to the hand that keeps them down. They will never even be capable of hearing you.
Mostly I'm pissed about how this has destroyed small businesses, ruined competition, not only for products and the market but for labor and for wages, and turned the legal system into a weapon of the elites.
We all suffer from this. These people don't understand yet. People yearn for freedom. They need to know what they've lost. You won't even need to tell them what to do next. They will revolt on their own.
Should we have an amnesty for covid vaxx pushers too?
I want to save the younger ones more. And if shaming the older ones who are set in their ways and indoctrination, and increasing the costs they bear, letting the young ones see how bad an idea it is, if that helps the younger ones see, then I'm all for it. I'd love to save both of course, but that's a very optimistic ideal, that may be best achieved by saving more young ones first.
And forgive them first? No. Why. They can come ask for forgiveness first. You know, the biblical way.
Vax pushers are adults, bro. Bit different from blaming children for the fact that near every trusted adult around them gave them the same bad advice all their life.
Kids by nature are ignorant and gullible, on account of having very few life experiences. If you want to blame someone, blame the universities, who know damn well how poorly the overpriced papers they sell do on the job market, yet keep hiking up the tuition every year.
You can blame the parents too. The average tradcon parent is STILL pushing their kids into college.
It's like you hadn't read my comments, I was focusing the idea of shaming on the older ones, with shit degrees. OP was talking gen z, millennial, and gen x(!)
Sure, they're all grown when they graduate and are handed their useless piece of paper and the first bill for it. But keep in mind the fact that they were still idiot high schoolers when they selected their school and major and agreed to that debt. And the younger ones following them down that path are still surrounded by trusted adults giving them that same bad advice.
Also keep in mind the fact that Congress has passed multiple laws to protect banks from the consequences of giving bad loans for worthless degrees. Before 2005, private student loans could be discharged through bankruptcy and before 1998, government backed ones could be discharged after seven years. How fucked up is it that we have an entire industry built on scamming kids into undischarable debt? Which is why I say the solution is to change bankruptcy law and stick the banks and schools with the cost of all those garbage degrees they've scammed multiple generations of kids into.
I'm increasingly of the opinion that travel needs to be treated with skepticism. Don't encourage your kids to move off to the big city or out of state when they hit their twenties. For work, for college, for anything.
Of course, you can't Oedipally prevent them from leaving. But the idea that you can live anywhere and have a community is another boomer / goyest gen lie. Raise children who love their land and want to make it the best it can be, not ones who can't wait to get away from you or covet the worldliness up the road.
Honestly, I've rarely heard the pull by your bootstraps argument anymore. It sucks, white people built the system and now it works against them. The system should favor those that built it not all the foreigners.
And the in-group preferences of every other group while calling white people racist is disgusting. I'm happy I managed to barely ride the wave, I would hate to be Gen Z.
I still see it frequently on Twitter and such when arguments about inflation and current unemployment trends are brought up. It might be delusional boomers or Indians using the same boomer rhetoric to try to shame people into sticking with the status quo while India steals everything that isn’t bolted to the ground from America. I think Millennials are starting to adopt the same mindset as the boomers though, and rather than looking at younger generations with sympathy, they just scorn Gen Z for not wanting to participate in the charade.
Lack of shaming resulted in more fatasses and whores.
It's true, I've often noted that if any business sold worthless product for six figures we'd call it a scam, but in America it's called college.
Yeah you should never get a degree in underwater basketweaving or whatever but why is that even being sold? It's a cruel bait and switch to tell children they must go to college at all costs but then say they were stupid for going when it ends up a disaster.
Same with mocking fatties or autisitic men who think they are women - sometimes it helps?
Oy vey
I mean, yeah, women have a much easier time recovering from bad life choices than men, and I don’t have as much sympathy for White women compared to White men, tbh. I’ve seen women with gender studies or other degrees with zero value become project managers for big companies, and significantly fewer White Men (Maybe 0.00001% at best) would ever be able to do such a thing. It’s a blackpilling experience.
There are barely any women in my field but a shitload of H1Bs and other immigrants. H1Blon Musk wants to make that even worse, and you are also pro-immigration.
But not enforced, so long as it benefits non-Whites.
Sure, just ignore how basically all of corperate America gives preferential treatment in hiring and promotions to racial minorities and openly brags about their DEI initiatives.
Don't believe my lying eyes, eh?
Yes, because every population that contains women suffers from this exact problem and it isn't at all specific to a particular region and culture or a byproduct of deliberate policies enacted generations ago. No, no, clearly everything bad that has ever happened is because of women and this is no exception to that ironclad rule.
I really have grown tired of your single-mindedness.
Do you have a stat between Indian bias vs female bias? In my experience the jeets are worse. I'm willing to bet a jeet woman will favor an Indian man over a white woman.
That is wrong. They care about gender on average more then race. Does not mention if an Indian woman would favor an Indian man over a white woman. They will still favor an Indian woman over an Indian man so not sure how that would factor in a study.
Indians are in their own league.
I'm also seeing black people putting race before gender in the same scenarios.

"Blame women or shut up" really kinda says it all.
