I'm always confused why white nationalists encourage internal migration to the PNW of Washington and Idaho as the ideal place to concentrate, regroup and hunker down.
Because historically there are a lot of them already there to link up with, before most of the liberal infestations took over. They've got compounds built, land cleared, and family inheritance tying many of them to it.

Police, okay, if we talk about agents of the state and you're against the state they're at least armed and enforce the law. This could be considered a legitimate target.
Fire fighters? Literally just put out fires and save people. They don't enforce laws about anything political, they don't have the ability. It's just shooting people to shoot them.
Depends on who's doing the shooting, but it could be to sew the seeds of further discord if this is part of something larger. You shoot a few firefighters and suddenly they're all on edge and less eager to come deal with the neighborhood you drove through and molotov'd every house on your next terrorism op. It's to make societal infrastructure/institutions more destabilized. Seriously, what's most people's gameplan for their house burning down and the fire department just hanging up on you?
There's also the potential argument that firefighters are generally healthy and respected, and there are lots of dysgenic freaks out there spiteful of anyone happier than them.
There could be no larger gameplan than just someone who's lived a despicable life and wanted to ruin someone else's rather than improve theirs.
My counterpoint to that is what makes the person/people behind it think it won't happen to their house, or that they won't have a sudden case of falling down stairs a few times when they get arrested.
Terrorists are dumb, but most at least understand that they're not going to get treated well by the other side for it.They just assume their side will win and their crimes will be excused as heroes of the revolution or w/e.
