Starts at 5% which is dumbfoundingly low, house lowers it to 3.5%, and the senate lowers it to 1%. Reminder the GOP actively despises their base, especially the ones claiming “MAGA”.

Reminder the GOP actively despises their base, especially the ones claiming “MAGA”.

"MAGA" as an idea started as a rejection of the GOP and its decades of establishment failures and uniparty actions. Most of those guys didn't leave politics after getting that egg on their face nor "wise up" to what people actually wanted from them, they simply shrouded themselves in a new term to hide behind and continued their same nonsense.

The Dems will always be an enemy, but we will never make progress against them until the Republican party and most of its members are drained and replaced. Yet it seems most people, Trump most of all, refuse to gatekeep these enemies out of the game entirely and instead keep falling for their empty words.

And it was the tea party before this. Trump loves the neocons, he made that explicitly clear this year.

17th Amendment is one of the biggest mistaken amendments to ever be ratified that still is in effect. 16th, 17th, and 19th all need to be repealed

Every post civil war amendment is void as far as the us constitution is actually concerned. You can’t hold a states congressional representation hostage in order to pass an amendment.

Anyone who is honest must acknowledge the US Constitution is void after the Civil War. You can't have a "union" that's enforced at gunpoint.

Lincoln marching in and replacing state govts with his own puppets is no different than any other group that's conquered and has a puppet regime of foreigners installed to rule over them.

Incredible. Politicians finally found a tax that might be popular, and they don’t want it.

I don't actually believe they're going to collect a remittance tax at any level.

Every Mexican grocery in town has the obligatory Bitcoin/Western Union counter in the back for collecting illegal day laborer dollaridoos and sending them overseas. Those people ain't keeping records and paying taxes.

Can you imagine a tax bill going through the Senate for domestic taxes and them saying 'You know what? That's too high, let's cut the average American a break and lower it some.'

Kind of proves who they represent, doesn't it?

Elon Musk did denounce the bill for a reason.

It wasn't this reason.
