Also, has this Wilfred Reilly dude ever actually spoken to "IQ bros?" Because most of the ones I've come across acknowledge that Asians have higher average IQ than whites. Same for Ashkenazi Jews vs whites, although they might point out some dubious testing processes in this respect. But they'll certainly mention that both Asians and Jews have higher recorded average IQs.
As to immigration, I'm not sure of the exact breakdown, but it doesn't help that some of the most notorious black (sorry, "Black") immigrants are the utter shittiest examples, and snag a bunch of the attention. Also, doesn't help that these are the ones with "special" status, that the Democrats love to shove down our throats. Sure, sure, tell me more about how people misperceive black immigrants, when some of our most recent and noteworthy examples are floods of Haitians and Somalis. Forgive me, I'm not seeing the Black Excellence. I'm not seeing where the Diversity is Our Strength. Are there good black immigrants? Of course. Are there more bad ones, or at least more that produce greater harm? i.e., is black immigration to America a net positive, or negative?
And...uh, is saying the average black score is equal to the worst sub category of white score really much of a dunk?

I feel a little bad, since he's apparently on "our side" on some things. Well, one thing, looks like; he recognized that a ton of hate crimes are hoaxes. Other than that, it seems he pushes all the leftist ideals, though, from what I can tell. And I think this is just a massive blind spot for him, to boot. And that's kind of sad. He's not thinking clearly. He's seeing people saying at least some portion of blacks are bad and, as a Black Man™ (I guess?), he can't cope, and has to lash out. It's a bit of that James Lindsay energy.
IQ is really a series of thresholds.
If your population’s average IQ is north of a hundred, then you can build and sustain prosperous societies.
If the average is sub 80, then you’re going to be stuck in a dysfunctional dirt world.
Also, if you’re at 100 average, you don’t need to be controlled by a higher IQ population. You’ve already proven you can manage yourselves.
My point is that acknowledging the problems with Somalian immigrants is not a tacit admission that you should be ruled by the Japanese (or any other “high IQ” demographic).
My controversial take is that even moral proclivities are somewhat hereditary. Some people are inherently more honest, compassionate, honorable, etc. we just haven't taken the efforts necessary to decouple from cultural influence and really try to quantify it. And I suspect whilst the East Asians and Ashkenazi populations might have the edge in the abstract reasoning that constitutes IQ, the WASPs have the lead in the communal morals. Which could help explain some of the surprising outcomes of their respective empire building attempts. The efficiency gains of a high-trust, low-friction, self-policing population at 100 iq could outweigh the gains slightly higher reasoning abilities alone might contribute when trying to scale up a nation.
And because we no longer recognise these differences or take steps to specifically cultivate them, our society as it stands is structured in a way that those communal and pro-social traits are on the cusp of endangerment in the population as a whole.
Look up some of the Ashkenazi studies. I think the whole 'really high IQ' thing is largely overblown. The test groups weren't equal, for one, and it wasn't equally distributed IQ, even in the results, but verbal IQ specifically, as I recall. Even the results didn't say they were smarter than whites as a whole, because it was massively skewed to verbal IQ. But the real issue is that they were measuring relatively highly educated children, who are of course going to outperform children on average.
Good points, though. It is interesting that, in some ways, whites outperform even Asians, despite a lower average IQ. It could just be different values, though. Empire building isn't the only measurement of IQ, although it is relevant in basic societal competence.
Also, IQ isn't the be-all, end-all anyway. Asians are now having many of the same issues that the West had forced upon it, and look to be falling, albeit more slowly, to the same cultural decay. Doesn't matter how high your IQ is, if you let your culture get overtaken, for whatever reason.

I think the White population, also the Jewish, has a broader bell curve than East Asians, so more geniuses but even more idiots by percentage(China's population is so high that on a non-relative basis they almost certainly have more geniuses and idiots than any other country save perhaps India). But geniuses are what drives society forward more than a higher average IQ, inventing things, etc.

That's just completely wrong. You can develop a prosperous society even in below average IQ populations. It's going to depend mostly on your cultural institutions practices. Colonial America is actually a good example, considering most of the colonists were not highly intelligent (and as was standard for agrarian societies of the era), most were illiterate. Instead, cultural practices that promoted and incentivized long-term time preference, planning, and communal co-operation were the thing that made them a prosperous society.
Or a counter-example might be something like the Assyrian Empire. It is fairly reasonable to assume that a Bronze Age civilization based entirely out of a cult that celebrated extreme levels of violence and warfare, where nearly the whole of the population would be illiterate except a 'reading/writing' class of merchants, would have been fairly low IQ. Their civilization lasted 4,000 years. Another example might be the Mayans, Aztec, or Egyptians.
Low IQ civilizations can absolutely exist and be prosperous. They just can't be prosperous in Liberal civilizations which require high levels of individual intelligence due to individual responsibility.

Thomas Sowell's Immigrations And Cultures goes into this in excruciating detail as he lays out that certain immigrant groups, because they are from particular areas, are going to do better than other similar immigrant groups, or even the originating population. The cultural practices that inform their success are down to even the street level, separated by time.

People who actually have a nuanced understanding of IQ, aren't typically screeching that certain races are too morally inferior to be allowed to exist in western society and that genocide is a moral imperative, and only White Socialism can save us (Like damn near all of the ones here). They also know that 1 SD is a relative measurement from the distribution you are sampling. They also recognize the age of the population is important, they know that IQ inflation has been happening for a hundred years, they acknowledge that sex-selection will effect IQ, and they will acknowledge that non-innate factors can effect IQ in a population like malnutrition, violence, and poor health.
IQ Bros on the right that aren't literally just Nazis pretending to care about IQ would be someone like The Jolly Heretic. He's still wrong about some things because of how he words some of his more intentionally outlandish claims, but the data is still important. It's also certainly true that the West, particularly Liberal societies, require better IQ standards for the overall population because of the amount of personal responsibility afforded to individuals, and because of the willingness to not rely on tradition and duty to direct all behaviors. Hence, it is true that immigrants with low IQs will do poorly in western society. If those groups engage in behaviors that will promote high IQs for their posterity (like jews did in the US) then they can integrate well over time.

Yes. I’ve heard some of his interviews and he is good. Although with IQ I think it is what it is. Some groups do better on average.
There’s still a lot of people in denial about IQ and genetics, mostly because it creates a gaping hole in the founding myths created by the civil rights era. Equality and equity don’t exist, we are not all equal, and genetics plays a large role in that. If two Down syndrome people have sex they will likely have a downs baby, if two midgets have sex they will likely have a midget, if two low iq people have sex they will likely have low iq offspring. Modern society despises this concept because at the end of the day it means eugenics is very real. The upside is that by that same reality, high iq people of any race have a greater likelihood of producing intelligent offspring.
I remember Murray and Sowell had lunch and discussed it. Would’ve loved to have been a fly on the wall. Now from a Christian standpoint I believe Jesus loves everyone and every soul is valuable but some people are simply more intelligent, attractive, athletic, etc.

Again, thresholds. Who cares if Asians or Jews have higher average IQs if whites have already demonstrated the ability to construct and maintain highly prosperous nations? Blacks, by and large, have not demonstrated a capacity for self-sufficiency, never mind prosperity, so obviously a sub-90 average IQ is incredibly problematic.
