I'll never forget watching that NYC cop walk right by Debrina Kawam as she was on fire and he just let her continue burning. She was still standing up and only her back was on fire. Anybody could have snuffed out the fire at that point by merely putting a jacket on top of it. She could have been saved and that cop just stood by and watched her burn slowly like a fucking candle
I've always supported getting rid of cops. City officials do not need their own branch of law enforcement, we have sheriff's if you need more law enforcement hire more deputies. Defund the police and give it to the sheriff's office.
That's what always bugged me about "there are good guys in the cop business" or "blue lives matter" stuff. Sure, okay but how does that detract from the fact that they're gubbermint's lapdogs? It's a terrible conundrum where you can't protect yourself or form a militia but you don't want to be served and protected by government's lapdogs (who are probably forreners too).
Blue Lives was always just "opposite of whatever the Left is saying" mixed with a lot of small town guys who had family in the local law enforcement (aka where its at its most good and matters the least).
What we would consider "modern" police departments didn't exist until the late 1800s.
For example, Teddy Roosevelt professionalized the NYPD as police commissioner from 1895-97. He put phones in all police stations, established physical standards, and armed them all with pistols. I have to believe he would be disappointed if he could see what his efforts morphed into through the 20th century to today.
All this to say that, while we see how cops are and what they do as a fact of life, this is not how it historically worked and it's not what the founding fathers would have intended.
They are to protect, they need the ability to make these darkies not breath be it knee on the back or bullet in the head. It has been proven over and over this is the only language they will understand
