Making homes affordable again? Is there anything climate change can't do?

>muh home value

A house is a place to keep you and your shit out of the elements, not a financial derivative for you to leverage shitty purchases or your retirement.

With the value being driven up artificially by immigration, inflation, and building restrictions.

Biden held it back using the Climate Pacifier 9000 that Obama built in the basement of the White House. Remember when Bam-Bam got elected, and we were told that the Earth would cool and oceans recede?

But I was promised that my property 30 miles inland would be prime beachfront property any day now thanks to the global warmings!

My home is not an investment mechanism.

You hear that, (((investors)))?

My horoscope says my home value will be just fine. Zillow says I am up $300k in just five years, so a slowdown wouldn't bother me, and might actually allow some of the younguns to finally get into the market.

I will get second and third opinions from my psychic and my tarot reader though, just to make sure I have enough hippy dippy woo shit on my side to overpower the woo of "climate change".

One little-discussed result is that soaring home prices in the United States may have peaked in the places most at risk, leaving the nation on the precipice of a generational decline. That’s the finding of a new analysis by First Street, a research firm that studies climate threats to housing and provides some of the best climate adaptation data available, both freely and commercially.

The research firm who specializes in "climate threats to housing" tells us the sky is falling.

I'm convinced.

Good! My house doubled in value and now I’m paying taxes for a home twice its size. I’m going to do my part and burn leaves everyday and use 1980s hairspray!

Oh no. If me and my home live 100,000 more years we might get caught in a new ice age.

No. That's Blackrock's climate "change" hoax devouring your home's value so they can snatch it up on the cheap and build pods high density equitable dwellings.

In that way, Altadena may prove to be the true harbinger ⎯ of a future in which no one but the rich owns their own homes, where insurance is a luxury good, and where renters pay a monthly toll to large private equity landowners who may be better suited to manage that risk.

You shall own nothing and be happy, because large equity landowners are here to save the day!
