You ever see what happens when you put a gifted kid in a regular classroom, or vice versa with a below average student in an honors class?
It drags everything to a screeching halt because they are constantly in need of extra attention, whether to keep up or out of sheer boredom of being too far ahead. Efficiency is completely shattered by trying to fit all into one size.
My high school in Louisiana was and probably still is segregated, just like all our neighborhoods and towns. The black classes moved at a glacial place compared to the white ones, and where constantly in a state of accomplishing nothing in a day because of acting up.
Its literally more efficient in every sense to give them their own spaces, the only way to possibly think otherwise is if you Tabula Rasa and think all their behaviors and mental states are purely environmental.

"I gon put dis piece of shiny from dah fwoppy diss in da big powah outwet huh huh huh." <-- Actually happened in a class I was in. Sadly, Jayquan did not fry himself, only every computer in the lab. Jayquan has gone on to father many children and rob many liquor stores, last I heard.
Yeah, I spent my elementary school days in a black dominated school. I was so fucking bored to the point it made me crazy. I actually wonder if I'd have been different had I had the opportunity to be around people like me those ages. I didn't really have friends several of those years because there just was no one around me with similar enough interests, home life, etc. to even relate to. Especially the early years, when I was really in the hood. I don't really remember more than one or two of my peers from those years.
What bugged me the most was reading in the early years. I started Kindergarten already pretty confident reading, and by the time I'm in grades 2-4 there's still so many who struggled with the most simple things. No, I don't want to sit here taking turns reading aloud. "T-t-th-the dd-uh-dd-o-dog wall-kuh-lead dd-doo-n t-the r-r-r-r-oo-ad." Give me a break, I gotta listen to this for an hour just to blurt out 5 words in 3 seconds every few minutes it's my turn?
If you hand a 3 year old a painted resin Gundam model, it'll be trashed in hours. People know this, so they don't give their kid something like that, they give them a cheap plastic action figure instead.
For that same reason, you don't put nice things in areas where the local population will trash it for fun.
Those old black and white photos showing shitty facilities marked "colored" and nice facilities marked "whites only" follows the same reasoning. It's why the McDonalds in the nice part of town is clean and run well, while the one on the other side of the tracks is dirty with busted up washrooms and has hundreds of health code violations.
At least white trash tweakers that steal copper wire have enough sense to steal from someone else and not just shit where they eat. Blacks will trash their own stuff.
I don't think the government should treat people differently at all. At least not the Federal one. And I won't tell you what your state should do unless it is also mine. But people should be able to discriminate how they want, and government should have less power.
This is why I love this website. The correct answer up voted without bullshit.
The whites that supported it. Back then thought they were doing the negro a favor, and they had so much trust in authority that it would never get out of hand. They lived to see how wrong.
An argument can be valid and still used for legal cultural subversion. The argument was that blacks are American citizens under the law, and the state cannot treat one person different than another based on race. They argued that White facilities and neighborhoods got better support from the government, directly or indirectly.
I do not see why "no segregation" has to mean "forced integration". The Civil Rights act being forced on private businesses is to blame. If we had freedom of association, people would naturally segregate.
They used the 14th amendment as the justification. The 14th was passed when half of the country was under oppressive military occupation, it was never a legitimate expression of the will of the people.
I'll be honest, the modern 'Black community' are making a stronger argument for segregation to be brought back than the KKK.
There was never any argument against segregation. Basically its "blacks look sad and women can vote."
That’s why reddit and Facebook have a new policy : “no videos that show black violence are allowed”
Think there was an argument previously when it was needlessly creating two different facilities for reduced efficiency.
But decades of being on the Democrat plantation has made those differences much larger that separating them from larger society is now required.

Technically true, now they only need to operate one shitty school instead of a shitty one and a good one.

Brown v. Board of education ruled school segregation unconstitutional.
