Link for the study: https://archive.is/PdKm2

reveals girls feel intense pressure to be perfect and believe adults give boys more recognition for their creative work

It is not that boys receive more recognition is that girls "believe" boys receive more recognition.

68 percent of parents also agree that society takes male creatives more seriously than females.

Parents "agree" is the same as parents "believe", no factual data here.

This is a study about feelings not facts.

At the bottom you can find the resources that includes:

Inclusive Language Training for LEGO Employees

and

About the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media (GDIGM)

Girls get propped up because of their genitalia all the time. The only way boys get recognized is what they accomplish.

Who would have guessed that building an entire industry around female resentment and telling young girls that boys have it easier than them and they deserve special treatment would lead to girls believing that boys have it easier than them and demanding special treatment?

Sort of like the 1 in 4 women is a rape victim, taken at a women's shelter....

Didn't that figure come from a university campus questionnaire which bundled lesser actions into "sexual assault" in addition to the response bias.

That was the 1 in 6 and the 1 in 30 test. Both were way too much, but the testers got even more brazen.

Want to go out sometime?

No thanks.

You sure?

I'm sure.

Because you asked after she said no, she's now counted in the 1in4.

''Attempted forced kissing''.

A guy went for the kiss, she pushed him away. ''Rape survivor.''

That's the one! I forgot the exact stupidity but that's it.

It is not that boys receive more recognition is that girls "believe" boys receive more recognition.

Excellent point. Schools are run from top to bottom to cater to girls. How they learn and study best. K through University are antagonistic to boys. Now we got problems because an art teacher dared to praise a boy's drawing.

Stop making the rules based on the most insecure creature's feelings. This goes for all of society. Making rules and laws for the exception is so fucking feminine. Make the rule. If there's an exception, that's what judges are for. This morass of bullshit is drowning everyone.

And the best part is if any boy or man protests the blatant catering? Male fragility.

Nothing but projection as always.

the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media (GDIGM)

Sorry but I can't get past the fact that the "GDIGM" is a thing that exists, let alone take it seriously, lol...

I knew she was "washed up", but that seems... An extreme path to take, to start your own (presumably) "institute" of that type/remit...

Well you should take it seriously. It was one of the first "sensitivity reader" groups that is responsible for the current state of Hollywood and the gaming industry.

I love how there is factual proof that boys are failing in academia and we still have to listen to how girls have it worse because ebil, probably conservative parents, called the girl project cute. Yes cute is now bad language and discouraging

Did they look at the builds their young female propaganda exhibits made? All of them were cute. Except for the trophy which feels like a plant or prompted.

Yes, they are cute. Apparently cute is used with girls and it discourages them

Cute has become a pejorative in libspeak. It implies femininity, which is inherently empowering but also weak, and we cannot have something feminine and weak impeding empowerment, thus cute is bad.

So...women are herd animals? Women conform to the expectations of those in their social circle?

This isn't news, this is just re-framing old truths.

Women (and girls) are insecure by nature. Let's upend society to cater to them.

Reminds me of the classic "women feel less safe outdoors at night."

Had a friend's wife pull that on me, I showed her the stats showing women were the safest of all groups (more than children!) and she said none of that mattered because "that's not how it felt to her."
