Imagine you have an IQ that is just north of the retarded border. Are you going to making a living doing something unique, insightful, or productive? If you had the status that you actually merited you would be, under the best possible circumstances, a lower-middle manager and even then after years of drudgery and promotion only because they couldn't find anyone else for the job.
So instead you latch on to something that that confers you a higher status than you could have normally achieved on your own, utilizes your already entrenched irrational resentment, and whose only job requirement is a complete lack of ethics - which you already fulfill because if you didn't you wouldn't be down this path in the first place.

If he's dumb enough to fall for the trap and say America and slavery, then ask him if he's suggesting Japan, and any other parts of Asia took slaves from Africa and watch him maybe start to realise he's fucked up. This is unlikely, though.
Keep asking him about every single stage of his stupid argument until it gets to the point he's basically two steps away from the actual reason of the slave trade in Africa then drop him in it and ask why would there be blacks in Japan again.

I honestly expect this type of article for everything now. Do a mini series about Asians crossing the land bridge over 10k years ago and some moron would do an article about the lack of black people. I'm seeing some of these asshole colonist whiners also abusing a clearly mistranslated proverb about samurai and "black blood". I'm willing to bet that it's actually about having "tainted blood" because the word/kanji for the color "black" can have other, idiomatic meanings to it depending on the compound it's applied to, ranging from "dark/evil" to "tanned". But just like the shit that happened with GG Strive or other localizer trash, don't put it past them to intentionally mistranslate something to push their agenda.

A few years ago, I would have been excited to watch Shogun, but now I just don't trust Western TV at all and am just waiting for random blacks and trannies to be shoehorned into the plot. I'll stick to old NHK Taiga dramas on shitty streaming sites instead.
